The flames that consumed the spire of Notre Dame and burned the 856-year-old church to its foundations could have been doused by the tears of the faithful. If France heeds calls to rebuild the cathedral as a reflection of what modern French people want, the new structure may be flooded by their tears.
The fire, whose origins remain under investigation, was initially reported to have left little more than medieval stones, rose windows, and make of this what you will its golden altar cross untouched.
Donations nearing $1 billion have already poured in from around the world, without government compulsion. French President Emmanuel Macron pledged to rebuild the church within five years, a timeline as ambitious (and potentially, as unrealistic) as his plans for the eurozone.
We will rebuild the cathedral to be even more beautiful, Macron said...

visual reminder to the demon what is going to happen to it if it persists in troublemaking
Did a demon ever get scared off by a piece of ugly rock?
Seems made up.
Yep
It will be a mosque in 3..2..1..
We can only hope that Macron will hold the line. The government’s default position should be, “Notre Dame is a Catholic Church, and a cathedral. It is today a state property only because the state seized it and never returned it. It has become a symbol of France and is an important part of our cultural and artistic heritage. But it was built as, and it remains, a Catholic Church, and we will restore it as such. Period.”

I’m not a betting type of person but I’d wager you would probably right.
The real destruction may be about to come.
The willful turning away from God.
Spurning an opportunity for redemption.

Henry VIII did not issue such an order. Many churches in England that had been catholic still stand, with one dating back to 597. This page lists the oldest buildings in England, with many being churches, abbeys, and cathedrals.

What he did do was order the monasteries and convents closed.
modern society deems it needs a victory mosque inside.
I hate this kind of news. A few libs in France thought this would be a good idea. The media picks it up and reports like it is what IS happening, when it is only what some liberals WANT to happen. This is fake news.

more beautiful mean “better than the original”
United Nations claimed it as a UNESCO site.
France doesn’t control it.
First thing I thiight when they said they would rebuild that they would make sure it has no cross or religious symbolism.
They are the downspouts.
Why use idolic statues of evil symbolism?
I explained that already.
Additionally, ouija boards are used to contact unholy spirits for the sake of amusement, which is an even more serious sin against the First Commandment. Nobody (nobody sane, that I know of) attempts to contact demons through the gargoyles of Notre Dame.
This is a very odd obsession of yours, BTW. They're an architectural feature meant to be insulting to demons. Insulting demons was not an unusual idea in 1163. They have no other religious significance.
They most certainly are. Do your research, I did.
