I don’t think he existed either. He was, IMO, a political theological legend created by Arabs to compete with Judaism and Christianity. Much of its core belief system was taken from others, i.e. the 5 prayers a day from the Zoroastrians, monotheism from Judaism and Christianity, etc... and if one looks at Islam today its political roots permeate the Islamic belief system and theology is virtually non-existent. Islam resembles communism and Nazism more than Christianity or Judaism.

There seems to have been some serious debates among “Christians” regarding the Trinity.
Islam, IMHO, exploited this division.

I believe the five prayers a day was borrowed from Zoroastrians.
King David and the prophet Daniel each mentioned they prayed three times a day.

You would think that coming out of Arabia in the manner that he did would leave a very strong direct impression (surviving written records/sources!) on the world of his enemies. There is very little to none.
