Heavenly Father –

We praise You for Your infinite mercies that knows no man-made boundaries. No government, no philosophy, no politics can hinder Your Spirit from working. Even in the most unlikely places.

May we reflect on a seminal moment in history.

On this date, April 12, 1961, the First Man went into space. Yuri Gagarin. A Russian cosmonaut. From an atheist country, very hostile to religion. And Soviet Premier, Nikita Khrushchev, had reported that Gagarin had said:

I flew into space,
but didn’t see God

That quote has since been disputed as Fake News. Propaganda to advance a politically the correct government narrative. Very much like today in America.

But those close to Gagarin knew he was a devout Christian. Reference: Yuri Gagarin – went into space and found God!

And one of Gagarin’s close friends attested:

He always confessed God
whenever he was provoked,
no matter where he was.

May we hold with confidence, Lord, that You are working in the most unlikely places. And though the world seems dark, nothing man can do can quench Your Light and the moving of the Spirit.

And we thank You, Lord, in the dark days in America, You raised up President Trump. A most unlikely champion for the faith as well as America. Beating at all odds the Deep State anointed candidate.

We thank You, for giving President Trump courage and strength to withstand the daily vilification of both political parties, the swamp, and the mainstream media. And we pray that You keep him safe and guide him daily.

Grant God’s people a heart of repentance and spark a revival. May the Spirit move mightily in our land and ignite another Great Awakening.

Praying for President Trump and a Trumplican majority Congress come 2020. Also for a constitutionalist, pro-life Supreme Court...for the renewal of all our state, city, and municipal governments and courts.

For school boards and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our nation’s public schools. For peace, not violence to reign in the lives of our nation’s children. I also lift up our nation’s corporations, especially Boeing. For righteousness to rule the day in our economy. And for all young, conservative voices in media - especially Candace Owens and other ‘diverse’ individuals the Left is intent on destroying.

And in light of your Yuri Gagarin tribute, I pray for my beloved Russia, and Ukraine. Praise God for the Christian revivals in Ukraine and for their blossoming democracy + runoff election on the 21st.

Prayer for Russia to completely cast off her Soviet chains once for all and for freedom to rule the day there soon, and for godly leaders to emerge.

Lord God,

I thank You today that the terrible enemy of the U.S. from my childhood, Soviet Russia, has been overturned, that its many captive satellites have been freed to resume Christian society, and that Russia itself is finding its way back to Christianity. I pray that Russia has not been too insulted by our country’s feckless #Resistance to continue to recognize American Christians as their brothers and sisters, children of the same God; and that our President’s goal to forge a closer alliance with that powerful country will not continue to be thwarted, except if by Your will for our nation.

Thank You, Lord God Almighty, for Christians around the world whose spirits orbit high above the bounds of earthly restriction into Your glorious kingdom of the soul, far beyond the earth’s atmosphere—Your kingdom that stretches outward and inward towards infinity. If Yuri Gagarin said he did not see You, perhaps it is because he knew You, and that You are vaster even than what we know of outer space! For Your kingdom is “not of this world.”
