This is Blasphemy! Jesus said to pray in His name! And the 10 Commandments warn us not to worship anyone but God. There is NOTHING in the Bible that tells us to pray to anyone or anything other than the TRINITY!

Just damn.
Even Walmart has fresher meat than that.

This is pretty bizarre. Not to mention, gross. Sounds like something some weird demonic cult would be into.

Venerated, not worshipped.

veneration (vĕnˌə-rāˈshən) ► n. The act of venerating. n. Profound respect or reverence. n. The condition or status of one who is venerated. Veneration is not worship.

Veneration, not worship as in worship-of-God. Nobody thinks SJV’s heart is God, and SJV would be the first to point you to Jesus as the center of all things.

Worshipped? Please! This priest may very well have served his God faithfully but neither he,nor any part of him, deserves to be worshipped!
That's Christianity 101.

Venerated, not worshipped. Worship for God alone.

I love You, O my God, and my only desire is to love You until the last breath of my life.
I love You, O my infinitely lovable God,
and I would rather die loving You, than live without loving You.
I love You, Lord, and the only grace I ask is to love You eternally
My God, if my tongue cannot say in every moment that I love You,
I want my heart to repeat it to You as often as I draw breath -- St. John Vianney

Planning the funeral for my Dad, the Catholic church was very particular on the state and completeness of the body.
Then they tear apart the corpses of saints and run around worshipping the parts. It makes no sense to me.

This is the associated press. You think they are accurately reporting the the actions of Catholics?
In fairness to them, in English, adore is technically the form of honour done to God alone—worship was not always used as a synonym, and technically isn’t a synonym. It originally is the honorific proper to the mayor of a town, justice of the peace, or magistrates, and still occasionally used that way, particularly in places with greater English influence. An uncle of mine, who was mayor of a small town, tried to get his wife to use the proper nomenclature, but she didn’t buy into it (in fairness, she used to be mayor of a much bigger town).

Not worshipped! Venerated! Or so the Catholics always like to say.

LOL!
I wonder what happens when a delicate freeper tours a Gothic cathedral in Paris or Rome or, worse, Bologna? Does he run from the cathedral screaming “blasphemy!” taking refuge in the nearest McDonald’s?
To: buffyt
His heart is being venerated, not worshiped.
