It seems to me Wesley is writing a criticism of the book and its author, not a recommendation or endorsement. Correct.

I’m not saying she looks cool. I’m saying a lot of lefties would think that, & might condescend to show up in Hope’s of having a more groovy experience.
Aren’t a lot of churches watering down the liturgy & bringing in rock bands? She’s just a more obvious example.
