An 84-year-old widow claims California officials are threatening to kick her out of a residence for veterans if she doesn't stop hosting a longtime Bible study.

Some days I fear Trump is a temporary band aid. I BIG band aid and even a multi year band aid.
But still a band aid in the big picture.

It seems she frightened an elderly veteran by sharing her religious views.

Christian here. not all Christians are good people some can be Quite abusive because in the end we are a product of this world. The staff is not forbidding a bible study. If you read the article what is happening is that because she was abusive they are forcing her to step down as leader of the bible study. they are not banning the bible study they are taking away her leadership role as a community volunteer. the bible study was not hers but a part of organized activities by the retirement center....this part is just me speculating but if she decided to hold her own bible study in her room no one would stop her.

The CA government agency is anti-Chrisitan.
They tolerate every insane street creep in San Francisco, but will not tolerate a Christian or a Jew (or combined views) sticking his/her head up.
The complaint? Is from California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet).

Yes, they do ‘murder’ the language don’t they?
I keep getting ‘proposals’ to meet ‘cougars’ and it makes me pause and muse-
at 79, just what would I be expected to accept as a cougar - based on info at hand?
I guess now words like “hell” are “trigger” words, even in a veterans venue. I think it is only the CalVet officials that are “snowflakes” not the veterans in their facilities.

Lol! A friend (58) said something similar, expressing interest in the ‘cougar’ phenomenon. I explained that he probably didn’t really want that, as for him it would be more of a snow leopard than a cougar.
Time to do that civil disobedience thing. They count on fear based compliance. Just refuse to stop, and refuse to move out or leave.
Make sure plenty of cameras are around when they call the sheriffs deputies to drag her out bodily.
