never quite considered the Episcopal church as ever being protestant enough.

Maybe something like this...

Fundamentalism vs. Apostasy-Ian Paisley-Full Sermon

Not a fan of his theology at all but he sure could preach up a storm.

The title is misleading. There are plenty of bible believing protestant churches that don’t preach about raising the minimum wage.

I attended a Presbyterian church that drifted badly into politics. The pastors’ idea of justification by faith is that a congregant is justified if they are a liberal Democrat.

This man’s wittiness is laugh-out-loud funny. His intellectual constipation regarding religion is sad, but his courage in facing it is remarkable. At least he is trying, as the other three installments in this series reveal.

His own prolixity and lack of pointed conciseness makes him guilty of what he complains about, while he is either spiritually dead or ignorant of the abundance of evangelical, not dead Episcopal, preaching.

Here is one of the best I ever heard. B.H. Clendennen - Soldiers. Gillette may not like it.

I'd say Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God, A Sermon Preached at Enfield, July 8th, 1741 by Jonathan Edwards is a pretty good example of what preaching should be.
