I used to like the Church, back when the mass was in Latin.
Since then, not so much, tho our local cathedral is quite beautiful and the choir is so incredibly good that they sing at the local symphony.
Ditto. Gave up on the Roman Rite in 2005. Tired of priests who couldn't tell me why I should be Catholic. (I knew, but they didn't). Went East. Byzantine Catholic Rite is home now. LOVE the smells and bells, gorgeous vestments, growing (and GROWING congregation), feeling like family, everybody stands, everybody SINGS. Gorgeous stuff. A priest who preaches CHRIST, and Him Crucified...
Mass is still in Latin in certain areas. Every Sunday at one of the Catholic Churches in my town!
