It’s like saying that Hitler really personally didn’t kill all those Jews.
I read all the books of the Left Behind series. But one of the things (at the time) that always confused me was how the “new religion” popped up and supported the rise of the AntiChrist. Back then I thought the Catholic Church was filled with noble leaders who fought against evil like righteous Paladins, come what may. Needless to say, I now understand.
I think the Catholic Church lost its soul in World War II when it did little to help stem the tide of the Nazis, and seemed more concerned with the preservation of its property and Vatican treasures than caring for its flock.
Today, you can’t even get the Pope to say something is immoral, except irrational things like taking Communion after a divorce, or a wall to protect what’s yours.
Dolan is a disgrace.
And that truth points perhaps most intensely to those who act as leaders of the Church. Could He be more disappointed?

Excommunication should not be used as a weapon, but can be used as extortion for us Catholics who were divorced and cannot remarry without spending lots of $$$$ on an annulment. If we don’t pay up before we remarry we are excommunicated. This Catholic stuff is getting old.

Couldn’t agree more. The bottom line, from my perspective, is that the current Church hierarchy is not what defines Catholicism. I don’t care what most of them say anymore. God is not defined by them, or anyone else.
The Big Fat Cardinal, and apparent agent of satan, is also a Big Fat Hypocrite and protector of Baby Killers and Child Molesters.
