Rev. Jacqui Lewis, a senior minister at Middle Collegiate Church in New York, took the stage Saturday at the Women’s March and announced what she believed to be Americans’ greatest enemies. “I am so glad to be able to follow my indigenous family and share some words of blessing,” Lewis said as she opened her speech. “Standing here and looking at you and thinking about this movement makes me want to tell you what it means for me to be a Christian pastor.”
“There’s all kinds of Christians, but I’m the kind that believes that there’s more than one path to God, the kind that believes that every single body, no matter who you love and how you look, is created by God exactly as you are.”

In concluding her speech, Lewis outlined what she believes are common enemies among all Americans.
“Movements are messy. We don’t all believe the same things about God, and some of us don’t believe in God at all. We don’t have the same tactics. We don’t have the same strategies. We don’t even think we should have the same, you know, way to do stuff. But we agree on this: Our common enemy is white supremacy. Our common enemy is transphobia. Our common enemy is sexism. And our common enemy is greed. Movements are messy, but we’re gonna have to move together. And because it’s a mess, we need to take these things with us. One: patience. Two: forgiveness. Three: resilience. Four: humility. And five: a stubborn commitment to look at our neighbor and understand that they are badasses. To see them as an extension of ourselves. So, honey, I’m blessing us today to stay in this messy movement together.”

So... gee, Rev. Jacqui Lewis... what do you intend to do about it??? I mean, you’re demonizing a group of people you don’t like, after all...

Well, not exactly. He knows who he created you to be. He knows how you came to be the way you are. And he knows who you can still be if you let him lead and take up residence in and around you.

I hope she doesn’t hear the words “I never knew you” at the judgement.
If wee took Jacqui’s line, she/he would have no basis to call us sinners either. It logically goes nowhere.
So now “transphobia” , is apparently growing as yet anothrr liberal charge against those not on board with all this LGBT business.
The fact that they use these words improperly doesn’t matter.
A phobia is a fear of someone or something. They would call me transphobic becusse I’m.not all on board with celebrating gender dysphoria. But they would be wrong because I don’t have a fear of those with such conditions.
This is a good example of how the liberals oversimplify things. We are homophobic, transphobic, etc according to them. Whether we have an actual fear of such people or not.
The spirit of this age has had his leash loosened severely over the past many decades. It is unreal. We’re in the days of Noah and Lot and these dummies are marching to their eternal deaths following these doctrines of demons.
Seasons of rebellion can be followed by seasons of correction and return. We should not wish eternal doom on our worst enemy, lest we find ourselves at odds with the kind of plan that God had for someone like Paul.
If every single body is created by God just as He wanted, then how do they justify these transsexual peoples getting genital mutilation surgery???
She is a perverted version of Christianity.

Christians got complacent, got nominal. Those who had some kind of notion to go above and beyond got disdained, if not mocked.
