Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for PRESIDENT TRUMP and VICE PRESIDENT PENCE and for AMERICA:

Government, Family, Military, Business, Education, Churches, and the Media.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14 Religion Forum threads labeled [Prayer] are closed to debate of any kind.

Does not wisdom cry out, And understanding lift up her voice? . . . “The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old. I have been established from everlasting. From the beginning, before there was ever an earth.” . . . I say to the proud, ‘Do not boast,’ and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horn. Do not lift up your horn against heaven or speak with an outstretched neck. ~ it is God who judges . . . Talk no more so very proudly; Let no arrogance come from your mouth, For the Lord is the God of knowledge; And by Him actions are weighed. (Prov. 8:1, 22-23; Ps. 75:4-5, 7; 1 Sam. 2:3)

FATHER, today, we lift up our Nation before You. LORD, we know that a house divided cannot not stand, but could it be that on this one this matter there may actually be no division. We see BOTH parties of our Nation speaking proudly and arrogantly. Seems as if wisdom, knowledge and understanding are being suppressed as the struggle for power increases. Oh LORD, how desperate we need Your HOLY SPIRIT to take possession of the hearts of our servants and to establish justice in our land. From everlasting to everlasting, YOU ARE GOD.

LORD, please help our leaders, most especially the ones who truly stand up for Righteousness. Grant them a portion of Power, Love and Sound Mind from the HOLY SPIRIT, so as to know what it is and how it will be achieved, to set our Nation back on the course of Godliness and Brotherly Love. LORD, stifle the works of wickedness that lifts up their horns of evil and speak against all that is Good and Right. We know LORD, You are not mocked, and in Your judgement of this Nation as it stands today, please, remember Mercy. Please grant Your Special protection and care over all our service men and women, please bless our churches and youth, please bring back to You the hearts of the way wards that live among our families, and please reach the lost that live in every corner of the world.

LORD, we pray and ask these things in the Blessed Name of our Savior and King, Jesus. Amen.

- to guide our nation back to godliness and love
- to stifle wickedness that works against all that’s good and right

* For mercy on our nation, ripe for judgement

* For protection of all those who go into harm’s way to keep us safe

* For churches to provide moral guidance

* For the next generation to be taught the ways of the Lord

* For the safe places provided by families

* For God’s people to be a witness to a lost world

94:1 O Lord, the God who avenges!

O God who avenges, reveal your splendor!

94:2 Rise up, O judge of the earth!

Pay back the proud!

94:3 O Lord, how long will the wicked,

how long will the wicked celebrate?

94:4 They spew out threats and speak defiantly;

all the evildoers boast.

94:5 O Lord, they crush your people;

they oppress the nation that belongs to you.

94:6 They kill the widow and the one residing outside his native land,

and they murder the fatherless.

94:7 Then they say, “The Lord does not see this;

the God of Jacob does not take notice of it.”

94:8 Take notice of this, you ignorant people!

You fools, when will you ever understand?

94:9 Does the one who makes the human ear not hear?

Does the one who forms the human eye not see?

94:10 Does the one who disciplines the nations not punish?

He is the one who imparts knowledge to human beings!

94:11 The Lord knows that

peoples’ thoughts are morally bankrupt.

94:12 How blessed is the one whom you instruct, O Lord,

the one whom you teach from your law,

94:13 in order to protect him from times of trouble,

until the wicked are destroyed.

94:14 Certainly the Lord does not forsake his people;

he does not abandon the nation that belongs to him.

94:15 For justice will prevail,

and all the morally upright will be vindicated.

94:16 Who will rise up to defend me against the wicked?

Who will stand up for me against the evildoers?

94:17 If the Lord had not helped me,

I would have laid down in the silence of death.

94:18 If I say, “My foot is slipping,”

your loyal love, O Lord, supports me.

94:19 When worries threaten to overwhelm me,

your soothing touch makes me happy.

94:20 Cruel rulers are not your allies,

those who make oppressive laws.

94:21 They conspire against the blameless,

and condemn to death the innocent.

94:22 But the Lord will protect me,

and my God will shelter me.

94:23 He will pay them back for their sin.

He will destroy them because of their evil;

the Lord our God will destroy them.

Amen and amen! LORD, let me add a supplication for the gatekeepers of info in OUR world of information—papers, radio, television, Internet, social media, etc. be STRUCK with an awakening. So much wickedness and disinformation, downright ignorance is funneled through those pipelines, God. Please put an end to these things. Bring truth back into public discussions. Amen.

You hear the words of our leaders, the media, political pundits, those around us, and even ourselves. America has a heart problem. Our nation is in need of a SAVIOR.

Pour out Your SPIRIT upon us.

Search us, O God. Know our hearts. Test us and know our anxious thoughts. Point out anything in us that offends you, and lead us along the path of everlasting life. - Psalm 139:23-24

Praying with our Presidential Prayer Team today: For wisdom for the president as he meets with members of Congress today. Father, we also ask that the wisdom You give him today as he opens his mouth would be recognized as correct. Give the hearers ears to hear as we bind the haughty spirits from attempting to control their thoughts in the name of Jesus. Truth and Light are greater than Lies and darkness. Amen.

For God’s will to be accomplished through their meeting. We cry out, "Thy will be done on earth, Sir!" As already petitioned here, we pray for a spirit of unity around the will of God.

For truth and transparency in the Senate’s hearing and that God would guide them in their review of William Barr. We pray that truth and righteousness would prevail. In this we rejoice.

All of these activities from our enemy are stealing our peace, the plan You have for our country and the citizen's finances. In the name of Jesus, we call you out, thief!
"People do not despise a thief if he steals To satisfy himself when he is hungry; But when he is found, he must repay seven times [what he stole]; He must give all the property of his house [if necessary to meet his fine]".(Prov. 6:30-31) According to God's Word, repay seven times what you stole! Amen.
