I think there might be more going on with the censorship issue than people think.

I had a FB account and had a closed group for a property rights page with about 125 members. I also participated frequently on several community forum pages, some that dealt heavily in both local and national politics during the last campaign.

In October, my account was disabled permanently with no explanation. I tried to appeal but never got a response because I couldn't login.

I shook it off and admitted the world can survive without me.

But, a couple of weeks ago I went to Amazon to do some Christmas shopping and found that account has been disabled, too. I used the Amazon customer service link and ...same thing I could not login because the account is disabled.

I don't think this is co-incidental since there is no way to offend anyone on Amazon simply by shopping for my grand sons.
