There's a bus full of Catholic nuns tootling around the country final destination: Mar-a-Lago and a "Fiesta for the Common Good" spreading the social justice gospel that individualism is "an unpatriotic lie." Detroit News columnist Bankole Thompson reports that "NETWORK, the Catholic social justice group in Washington, D.C., led by Sister Simone Campbell, has long been answering the call of prophet Amos" about the widening gap between rich and poor.
Sister Simone's Nuns on the Bus tour is now making its way through 21 states, calling attention "to policies that are hurting the poor including tax cuts that end up benefiting the wealthiest, not the neediest in our nation." In other words, it's a Democrat publicity stunt.
Sister Simone had this to say to Thompson about Nuns on the Bus's stop in Detroit on Saturday: "At a time when partisanship and anger are running rampant in our nation, Nuns on the Bus is taking to the road to challenge the unpatriotic lie that our nation is based on individualism and to lift up the truth that we are best as a nation when we act on the Constitutional obligation to be 'We the People.'"
Sister Simone's anguish over "partisanship and anger" rings awfully hollow, the way she limits all her criticisms to Republicans, and can she really be unaware of how Democrats (the party she's clearly rooting for with extreme partisanship) have been the living embodiment of the word "anger" ever since November 2016? Not much "We the People" togetherness being offered by congressional Democrats or leftist flash mobs. Nor do her comments on taxes and the economy suggest she's bothered to update her opinions since she first acquired them during LBJ's Great Society.

Satanic nuns! Just in time for Halloween.
“People like Sister Simone provide the Democrats the double value of assuaging the consciences of Catholics who know better but want to support the abortion party anyway and fooling the Catholics who don’t know any better that she speaks for God.”
People who claim to be Christians yet support killing babies are liars and members of the army of Satan.
What did the Church do in the old days with heretics?
Since they are engaging in partisan politics the tax exempt status of their order should be pulled. They want higher taxes to help the poor, let them pay too.
Dunk them into the pond and see if they float...
WASHINGTONDefense Secretary Chuck Hagel is calling North Koreas threat to use LCWR nuns strapped to long-range missiles a provocative action and a growing threat to the U.S. and its allies. In a telephone call to Eye of the Tiber Tuesday evening, Hagel cited North Koreas pursuit of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles as nothing compared to the threat of one more nun from the Leadership Conference of Women Religious successfully reaching the mainlands. We need to do everything in our power to stop the North Korean threat before we get to the point of no return, Hagel said. What we fear is a miscalculation that leads to a provocation. North Korea has recently stated that they have the ability to attach an LCWR nun to a long-range missile that could target South Korea and the U.S. mainlands. From there who knows what damage the nun would inflict. Thousands tens of thousands of innocent television viewers could be in danger of having to watch as the nun is inevitably interviewed by CNN. We have enough of them here as it is, and the officials in Pyongyang know this. One more of them could break the Church in the U.S. When the Church goes, so does the last vestiges of culture, and finally, the U.S. would crumble as well. Its a slow, painful death.

From Cincinnati.com:
A Greater Cincinnati nun is suspected of illegally casting a ballot for another nun who died before last Novembers election, a new case of alleged vote fraud that emerged as local officials move to wrap up their investigation into election improprieties last fall.
Sister Rose Marie Hewitt, 78, died Oct. 4 after a 59-year career as a Sister of Charity [ a "prototypical LCWR type of congregation"...] that included service in schools here and across the country, as well as in various other positions in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.Although her death occurred before absentee ballots had been mailed to voters throughout Hamilton County, a completed ballot was returned to the elections board in Hewitts name.Officials believe the ballot was sent by another local Sister of Charity who was a friend of Hewitt and is registered at the same Delhi Township address. That person cast her own vote at her polling place on Election Day. [Who thinks they voted GOP? Raise your hands!]

ROME Joining forces with the Womens Ordination Conference, the Leadership Conference of Women Religious has enlisted the services of Fr. Ray Bourgeois, MM, in an effort to secure the release of the Popes Butler from a Vatican jail cell where he awaits trial for stealing and disclosing classified papal and Holy See documents to the press.
Likening the Popes Butler to Daniel Ellsberg of Pentagon Papers fame, Sr. R.U. Kidding, a Daughter of Charity and co-mentor of the LCWR, said that the Popes Butler was a political prisoner and that the Vatican was torturing him and should release him as the hero he is.
Yes, the Vatican is just as mediveal as we have always said it was. This just proves it., reiterated Sr Randi McNulty, a Sister of Mercy and another LCWR co-mentor.
When questioned about the possibility that crimes were committed, Bourgeois shot back, Some needs outweigh outdated male-made rules. We call on the Vatican gendarmes to free that butler and free him now. Free The Vatican 1!
Bourgeois, co-spokesperson and famed rights champion said, The butler is in solitary confinement in a Vatican jail for trying to bring transparency to the highest levels of Vatican intrigue. We stand in solidarity with all those oppressed by male-hierarchical power.
A clearly angry Sr. Kidding said, He struck a blow for equality and theyre making him a scapegoat.
Visibly moved, Bourgeois added, This guys a hero.
There have been unconfirmed reports of nuns in pants suits with scaling ladders at the Vatican walls.
Taxation is not Charity
We should print that on the money.
Elderly left-wing old broads who make the pope look like a conservative in comparison.
When their bus breaks down, no one fix it.. ok ?
Who says they are actually nuns? Who is directing this, the Pope, or the DNC, or both.
Theyre really social workers disguised as nuns.
There is no such obligation in the Constitution, and yet they want to pretend that it is. That's called a lie. Nun's that lie to your face, and to themselves... SMH
I agree. Tom Strohbar, an investment advisor in Dayton, Ohio survey the investment policies of religious orders. If I recall correctly, all had policies against certain investments, military contractors and a bunch of typical liberal topics. NONE had policies against abortion providers or pharmaceutical companies that produced abortion inducing drugs.
My mother had encountered so many whacko nuns in her lifetime that it caused her to develop this theory that a lifetime of celibacy does really bad things to the female brain.
IMMEDIANTLY refresh and recall your vows...they were lifetime commitments and cannot EVER be set aside.....PATHETIC.
Christian Group Launches Nationwide ‘Revival’ Tour to Oppose Republicans in Midterms
A politically-liberal Christian organization will host get-out-the-vote “revivals” in nearly 30 towns across the nation this coming month in an effort to unseat Republican members of Congress this fall.
Led by Minnesota pastor Doug Pagitt and fueled by opposition to Trump administration policies, “Vote Common Good” rallies will be held in at least 10 states before the Nov. 6 midterm elections. The rallies will feature live worship music and a rotating cast of mostly left-leaning Christian leaders, authors and activists who will attest to why Christians should vote for the Democrats.
The stated goal of Vote Common Good, which is the brainchild of a meeting of anti-Trump evangelical leaders that took place in Colorado in May, is to “flip Congress for the common good.”
