As most of us will now admit, The Catholic Church is not above reproach any more. Many aspects of the Church are run solely with the profit margin in mind, similar to most secular for profit businesses. The present Pope’s moral values are at times nebulous and hard to pin down.
The Catholic church will do anything for $5.00 And I was Catholic.
What happened to render unto Caesar, the things that are Caesar’s and unto God the things that are God’s? And leave Kids out of your program too, we know what will happen a few years down the line...
Depends on one's perspective. The city leaders and others who promote this device are working at a very obvious level - that of remaking America (from the bottom up).
Since that mentality tends to be reinstalled at local levels, the feds better get a grip on enforcing immigration laws and at the same time impose effective penalties on cities and states that choose to not assist.
There could come a time when completion of a border wall would be too late.

Unfortunately, this Anti-American activity by Catholic Charities is largely government funded, as you already probably know, and also by our own parish funding, and collected annually.
I’m certain you and I do not touch that collection. I scowl just having to pass that money bag down my row. Very hard.
This activity means million$$$$ to the Church, in the USA.
