A massive coalition of U.S. Christian churches attended by 40 million people wants Brett Kavanaugh to withdraw his Supreme Court nomination.
The National Council of Churches says the conservative jurist has "disqualified himself." The group says in a statement that at last week's dramatic Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, he showed "extreme partisan bias," demonstrating he lacks the temperament to join the high court.
The group says Kavanaugh told "outright falsehoods." And it is criticizing his judicial record on voting rights, health care and other issues on which the group has taken liberal-leaning positions.
Kavanaugh is a Roman Catholic who has said religion is an important part of his life. The council does not represent Roman Catholics....

“still”
Tell that to the AME and COGIC, among others.
National Council of Churches = left-wing bunch of aholes.
Their “religion” is liberalism.
In case anyone was wondering heres a link to the membership https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_National_Council_of_Churches_members
My Lutheran pastor -when we were in confirmation class- told us the NCC [and WCC] were just communist fronts.... he refused to have anything to do with either of them.

The National Council of Churches is a coven of witches.
I was PCUSA, they have lost 1/2 of their membership since 2000. My church left the denomination about 4 years ago.
No use or respect for any of these people.
The National Council of Churches long ago disqualified itself as a Christian organization. CINO, at best. Overtaken by lefties.
Dad was brought up Methodist, Mom was Episcopalian, so we all ended up with Mom’s church.
Which is a bit odd for people descended from the first Anabaptists and Huguenots in America.
So when people ask me know what denomination I am, I say Episcopalian, which means I don’t have a church.
Unless of course you think the Folsom Street Fair is some kind of sacramental event, which the new “church” apparently does.
Pity; the Methdists Church has lost its way...
National council of churches represents the dead and dying liberal protestant mainline denominations. It does not represent 40 million people. No way. Maybe in 1960 but those churches have been losing members by the millions for 30 -40 years now.
The PCUSA, like other mainstream Protestant denominations, has been ruined by leftists with ideology that doesn’t resemble Christianity. The churches were infiltrated in the 60s by radical students seeking a haven from the draft via deferments for studying in seminary. The draft dodgers found the job to be quite comfortable and reasonably lucrative as many of the local churches have sizable endowments. The PCUSA is nothing like the church of my youth, and it is a key part of the NCC. I remember they had a party at the National Presbyterian Center in DC for the draft dodgers when they were pardoned by Carter; this outfit never did a damned thing at the national level for the Vietnam veterans.
I was an elder. I once had to go to a “listening session” held by the presbytery for elder representatives of each church, ostensibly aimed at “reaching unity” for all the churches, but actually aimed at putting pressure on those churches that refused to embrace the homosexual agenda.
I and elders from other churches went through 4 hours of being berated for not being inclusive, for being old-fashioned, for being hateful, etc. etc. etc. We were told we had to “embrace the wave of history” of inclusiveness. It was like a Communist-style reeducation session.
At one point I was being talked to by an It seminary student that went on and on about not being able to be ordained because It was gay. I literally could not tell whether It was a man or a woman. (It “presented” (dressed) as a man, but acted totally like a woman.)
Just absolutely bizarre how the mainline churches have come under the control of Satan.
SF Chronicle FAKE NEWS!!!! Just go look at deplorable evangelicals on twitter and FB and you will see what BS this is!!!!
Any of these losers
Have NOTHING to do with Christ
