Satan is attacking bishops; they must fight with prayer, pope says
NATIONAL CATHOLIC REPORTER ^ | 09/11/18 | Carol Glatz,

In these times, Pope Francis said, it seems like the devil, "the great accuser, has been let loose and he's got it in for the bishops. True, there are, we are all sinners, we bishops."

The great accuser "seeks to reveal sins, which people can see, in order to scandalize the people" of God, he said in his homily during morning Mass at Domus Sanctae Marthae.

Well, Satan is attacking every one of us. Why should bishops be exempt?

“Of course it’s best if a priest is all the he should be, a man full of Justice, Courage and Purity, of Faith, Hope, and Love. But even if he is in a state of mortal sin, it does not affect the “realness” of the sacrament, because, to put it plainly, it is not “his” sacrament. He doesn’t “do” it nor “own” it.”

So why have priests at all if all a priest does is act as a middle man in the sacrament distribution franchise?

You will of course now have to argue that no, a priest is important, which brings you back to the original point.

If it matters not whether a priest is forthright, moral, and a man of good character, then it allows the Church to let homosexuals run wild for decades molesting countless thousands just like church leadership has done.

No, if a Sacrament can be delivered by such men, as you explain, God does not care about the Sacrament, and neither does the Church and therefore it ceases to be a Sacrament in the hands of such evil men and the Church enables them is reduced to farce.

Pope is just mimicking protties “Grace” loopholes. As long as you believe, you can sin at will with a clear conscience. State authorities can get you, but Christ won't, so what is the Spiritual big deal anyway. You are covered.

No "protties" I know ever teach there are "Grace loopholes". Nor is there any such doctrine as one "can sin at will with a clear conscience". It's not something found anywhere in Scripture either so whoever told you that was fibbing. What's that thing someone repeats here so often? Oh, yeah, don't tell us what we believe, ask us! Francis is ALL yours!

Funny you should say that. There are so many things lining up that sure look like End Times prophecy. After seeing this story and after knowing everything else that is being exposed I reread, Revelation Chapt. 17, Verses 1-15 and I can’t help but think Babylon is Vatican City. The description is too close especially the last sentence...................

“And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”

(I always read the King James version.)

If it were up to me, I would not have invented the priesthood. It's not something I have an instant attraction to: I, personally, would not have designed it or recommended it.

We have a priesthood because it was founded by Christ for our well-being. It is handed on to us the same way the Scriptures were handed on to us, at the same time, and by the same people.

That is enough for me.

OK, G'morning in the afternoon.

" Great start. Now, simply remove any conditions about marriage. Marriage should be natural and not contrived."

Agree 100%. But what "conditions" are you talking about? A marriage is only considered "valid" --- sacramentally speaking --- in the Catholic Church if it is "natural and not contrived."

So, we're there: at least if practice matches theory.

Tagline from my fave Catholic theologian:

“That is enough for me.”

That is the point. If the Church took Christ seriously, offending priests would be immediately removed, because Sacraments are to be respected and handled respectfully by people who do not bring disgrace to themselves and to God.

Oh absolutely. No disageement there. What a corrupt priest on the make is guilty of, is a totally polluted combination of sexual sin. sickness, crime and sacrilege.

To NOT remove them is to expose the Holy Sacraments to profanation.

It's wrong on 10,000 levels.
