This is getting interesting. DiNardo, as head of the USCCB a thus a very powerful man in the Church, has effectively allowed himself to be put in the position of a Dubia Cardinal: somebody who has a right to expect an answer to simple direct questions.

If Pope Francis answers DiNardo, the pressure builds for a real investigation. If Francis blows him off, Francis' credibility sinks closer and closer to zero.

This DiNardo vs Bergoglio match will be fascinating to watch. And DiNardo's status means the whole world *IS* watching.

Hopefully this will resolve itself to a moral resolution. I would like for Bergoglio to resign for the integrity and good of the Church but that is not likely

It’ll have to take a back seat until immigration and climate change are solved.

The pope is promoting gay crap. Not tolerating. Promoting.

All the files have gone to data hell. Priests are usually incompetent, Italian priests especially. But even these know how to use a shredder.

There will be an Apostolic Visitor. Just as soon as the shredded files are all reduced to ash.

If only we had some sort of agency that specialized in busting an organized interstate and international pedophile ring.
And if we only had a law that dealt with racketeer influenced and corrupt organizations.

Just too bad we don’t have some sort of Federal bureau that does that kind of thing.

I guess what’s an occasional finger up the wazzoo between friends?

Homosexuals have permeated the Catholic Church. They control the papacy and its infrastructure. A near majority of the hierarchy, and far too many priests are homosexual. None will resign or leave gracefully. It is their intent to reverse three millennium of Judeo-Christian consensus that rightly condemns the vile abomination of homosexual practice. At the core of homosexuality is the molestation and imprinting of young boys by perverted men. The homosexuals wish to alter Church teaching to make it compatible with the hedonistic narrative now being promoted in Western culture.

Pope “who am I to judge” Francis if he had any decency should resign. But he won’t. Faithful Catholics believe that eventually the evil will be driven out and a faithful remnant will emerge from the chaos. Most alive today will probably not live to see it, but it will happen.

The good priests out there, laboring under this horrible cloud of suspicion the perverts and gays have brought onto all of them would probably weep tears of joy to see the heretic abusers frog marched out in cuffs.

I feel very bad for those decent men and hope THEY get considered when the FBI and the Church sort this out.

The good ones should not have to fight this hard, to stop something THIS evil.

“Who am I to judge” Francis has no credibility. He should dismiss the College of Cardinals and then resign.

The Vatican will ignore DiNardo. The plan is to brazen it out, with the support of the Left and its media, confident that this will peter out in a few weeks.

It won’t.

“That might depend upon how anxious Pope Francis is to uncover the truth about Vigano’s charges“

Is that a joke? If anybody knows the truth, it’s him.
