Perugia Cardinal Gualtiero Bassetti, the president of the Italian bishops and an uncritical follower of Pope Francis, used a talk about Amoris Laetitia at the pro-gay World Meeting of Families (August 24) to promote mortal sin.
Bassetti came up with the idea to distinguish between "good mortal sin" which he called "irregularity", and "bad mortal sin" saying that "not every irregularity is a mortal sin.
According to CruxNow.com, Bassetti went on claiming that what he called "irregularity" did apparently "not exist in the past as if fornication was something new.
Bassetti denied that every disorderly act against chastity is a mortal sin using the argument that if we consider everything to be a mortal sin, then we exclude any form of integration.
The question arises what kind of "integration" besides confession Bassetti has in mind.
Maybe we need to adjust the history books.
Just as when encountering a Jesuit, one must ask, “Are you a good Jesuit, or a bad Jesuit?”
He’s a fag.
Bet on it.
That’s so funny!
In the 70’s they told us to forget mortal and venial sin. That caused obsession and guilt feelings, even scrupulosity. Sin is sin. Now they want more categories?!
Basseti is now 76 years old. Despite turning in his resignation at age 75, like Wuerl, Francis has not accepted his resignation.
Those yellow teeth. That goofy smile. EGAD!
James Joyce called it
a queer old josser.
I will not judge the state of a man’s soul.
OTOH, that grin does not inspire confidence.
Then watch as your money dries up because people will stop donating to the wolves.
