Vatican Bombshell: McCarrick Conspiracy Uncovered! (Francis and Vatican Curia Directly Accused)
The American Conservative ^ | 08-24-2018 | Rod Dreher

Posted on 08/25/2018 9:03:29 PM PDT by NRx

Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, who served at the papal nuncio (that is, Vatican ambassador) to the United States from 2011-2016, has dropped an atomic bomb on Francis’s papacy, charging that “corruption has reached the very top of the Church’s hierarchy.”

In a lengthy statement, Vigano says that Francis has known for years about Cardinal Theodore McCarrick’s sexual abuse, but brought him into the pontifical inner circle anyway, and sent him around the world on papal missions.

In fact, says Vigano, the Roman curia has known about McCarrick since the year 2000, but McCarrick was protected by gay supporters honeycombed throughout the Vatican. Pope Benedict XVI ordered McCarrick out of public ministry in 2009 or 2010, but McCarrick, abetted by powerful gay allies in the Curia, defied Benedict.

Vigano demands the resignation of Pope Francis, writing:

At the Angelus on Sunday, August 12, 2018 Pope Francis said these words: “Everyone is guilty for the good he could have done and did not do … If we do not oppose evil, we tacitly feed it. We need to intervene where evil is spreading; for evil spreads where daring Christians who oppose evil with good are lacking.”

If this is rightly to be considered a serious moral responsibility for every believer, how much graver is it for the Church’s supreme pastor, who in the case of McCarrick not only did not oppose evil but associated himself in doing evil with someone he knew to be deeply corrupt. He followed the advice of someone he knew well to be a pervert, thus multiplying exponentially with his supreme authority the evil done by McCarrick. And how many other evil pastors is Francis still continuing to prop up in their active destruction of the Church!
Francis is abdicating the mandate which Christ gave to Peter to confirm the brethren. Indeed, by his action he has divided them, led them into error, and encouraged the wolves to continue to tear apart the sheep of Christ’s flock.

In this extremely dramatic moment for the universal Church, he must acknowledge his mistakes and, in keeping with the proclaimed principle of zero tolerance, Pope Francis must be the first to set a good example for cardinals and bishops who covered up McCarrick’s abuses and resign along with all of them.

I have posted the entire text below. I’ve read it twice now, and I’m telling you, this story is as big as it gets.

Vigano worked in the Curia before being moved to Washington by then Secretary of State Tarcisio Bertone over his own objections. Vigano believed he was being punished by Bertone for informing Pope Benedict of rampant corruption in the Curia. With this statement today, Vigano declares open warfare at the highest levels of the Roman Catholic Church.

Other highlights from the statement today:

Vigano writes:

Francis is abdicating the mandate which Christ gave to Peter to confirm the brethren. Indeed, by his action he has divided them, led them into error, and encouraged the wolves to continue to tear apart the sheep of Christ’s flock. In this extremely dramatic moment for the universal Church, he must acknowledge his mistakes and, in keeping with the proclaimed principle of zero tolerance, Pope Francis must be the first to set a good example for cardinals and bishops who covered up McCarrick’s abuses and resign along with all of them.

Vigano’s testimony gives weight to the theory that Benedict XVI resigned because he knew the lavender mafia in the Curia held all the cards, and that he couldn’t do anything. When the leader of the SSPX urged him to reform the Church, Benedict supposedly pointed to the entrance to his office, and said, “My authority ends at that door.” (I posted something about that here.)

Vigano told Lifesitenews.com:

“The main reason why I am revealing this news now is because of the tragic situation of the Church, which can be repaired only by the full truth, just as she has been gravely injured by the abuses and the coverups. I do this to stop the suffering of the victims and to prevent new victims and protect the Church: only the truth can make her free.”

It’s clear now: in the Vatican, this is civil war.

I believe this, plus what is recorded HERE AT #44 is enough to invalidate both Benedict's abdication (he WAS coerced: by traitorous subordinates AMONG THE CARDINAL-ELECTORS) and Bergoglio's election (it WAS illegal politicking from the git-go).

I've said many times that I'm no canon lawyer (Laus tibi, Christe) but Ray Burke will know how to put it all together, and this is the end of the fraudulent, invalid Bergoglio pontificate.

It's even bigger than that. Much bigger. I believe this is the end of the (invalid, fraudulent) Bergoglio "pontificate".

Thanks be to God.

From Vigano’s statement: “...I will immediately say that the Apostolic Nuncios in the United States, Gabriel Montalvo and Pietro Sambi, both prematurely deceased,...”

Both died from lung issues - Montalvo from lung cancer and Sambi after lung surgery. Is Vigano insinuating what I think he’s insinuating?

An honorable, holy man would resign to begin healing and true reform.

Then Francis won’t resign. IMO

What times we live in.

Abolish the Vatican. Cleanse the church like Christ cleansed the temple. This has obscenity of sexual perversion and child abuse has gone on far too long. Vatican 2 rendered the idea of a pope useless.

I’m not even Catholic, and I’m sick at heart about this.

I have friends and relatives who are Catholic, and this news has to be yet another a challenge to their faith.

It is solidly probable Bergoglio was not validly elected Pope. Chaos exposed at the top. Terrifying and a wondrous sight to behold.

the church has lost it’s focus, the teachings of Christ are not listened to, by any denomination, because man lives in the fear of death so much he will kill all to live in a world which he certainly dies in..Verses like the birds of the field o not sow or reap for food why do you oh men of little faith, show directly the chasm between the way of God and the way of sin and darkness..the world today is in complete darkness, in fact this universe has not yet been born, to God it is dead, without faith..Teach us your way Lord, we are fools..

Reading the testimony, I am beginning to understand Benedict more. He was surrounded and betrayed.

“…there is no mechanism in place for the laity to remove a pope”
There is, but it isn’t pretty, and a lot of innocents get hurt as a result.

Vatican 2. These homosexuals just followed the Modernists' lead at Vatican 2. They found a home and made it a church of their own. It's high time for folks to wake up.

Will we?

No canonical mechanism.

Lethal methods and ridicule are not canonical. (I’m not advocating the former).
