Yes. I’m not sure, but some of the responses caused me to suspect that not everyone understood the term in context.
This is unbelievable, but after last week I don’t think anything will be unbelievable again.
We just need a St. Pius X of 2018!
In North America seeing the word “episcopal” triggers many to think of The Episcopal Church.
Yes. I think it may have seemed to some that Salvation was “reporting” on something that she was not.
Its a queer priest problem. Not letting straight men get married aint got a damn thing to do with it.
There have been scandals, but the few have mostly been Priests engaging in extra-marital affairs with adult women. And they have been dealt with severely as the Canons require.
Have you been living under a rock until today. More than 3/4th of the sexual abuse cases in the last 50 years or whenever they started investigations have involved male on male sex abuse. That is homosexuality. This is from over a thousand years ago.
I don’t really have a dog in this fight; but it seems to me that wherever natural men are denied natural sexual outlet with women, homosexual behavior occurs among some of them.
Happens in prison; and with other animals all the time, when their social order is disturbed.
And when you create a monastic society or community, some homosexualists are naturally going to be drawn to it.
Very good post.
No a Pius V!
Amen and thank-you.
1 Peter 4:17.
We did have someone close to that saint, the previous Pope and he was driven out.
Please see post 33. Thank-you.
Benedict was no Pius V or Pius X..not by a long shot.
Homosexual acts occur in men when they have homosexual tendencies. Most straight men dont have homosexual tendencies.
The Eastern Rites in the Catholic allow for a married priesthood. Same with the Anglican Usage Rite. Come next year there is going to be a meeting of Bishops from the Amazon River area to dicuss ordaining mature married men to the priesthood.
I expect to see married Latin Catholic priests before I pass on.
Your own opinion, not mine. I seen him as such.
I’m not sure it’s always that cut-and-dried. Life and experience can do horrible things to individuals.
How can these creepy maladjusted freaky “men” be ordained in good faith?
