Here’s the letter from the Bishop of Kalamazoo (MI):

Like the other, talks about solving a problem that’s generally solved, while ignoring the problem that hasn’t been solved.
Similar to a bank president boasting of a new video camera system to monitor the tellers, while ignoring the bank vice-president who is regularly embezzling tens of thousands of dollars.
It’s painful to read: long-winded, tedious, meaningless pablum, meant to anaesthetize rather than enlighten or resolve.
It was reported here on FR that one of the homosexual abusers actually used a whip, yes a whip, on at least one of the boys in the rectory. That seems sadistic and reflects serious mental illness.
The words “homosexual”, “gay”, and “sodomy” are conspicuous by their absence. I cannot find any synonym for them in this piece of bureaucratic excrement.
Sadly, no mention of this at Mass this morning.
Mr. Cupich is a calculating oppressor of traditionalists. He deserves suspicion, to say the least.
I think were seeing two very distinct categories of responses from Bishops. The seeing and the blind - they seem to fall into one or the other.
No mention of it here either. Nothing in the bulletin.
Cupich is a big part of the problem. I used to think he was simply an empty cassock and a man of little faith. I still think he's a man of little faith but I no longer believe he's simply a spineless wimp. I now believe he's a major player in #QueerChurch and an active supporter of sodomite agitators like James Martin SJ. He's a big part of the problem.
“If the Pennsylvania situation was shocking, can you imagine what a grand jury investigation into Chicago would look like?”
No, I can’t. I’m just not that imaginative.
Are adult men undergoing preparation for ordination "children"?
I actually think the homosexual bishops HAVE put structures in place to discourage molestation of children.
Young men apparently remain targets of opportunity.
I have no doubt that the sodomites, in order to avoid prison, and to take the heat off (many people who think pederasty and child abuse are horrible are perfectly all right with sodomy, not realizing the intrinsic link between the two), they have consciously shifted their focus from 13 - 17 year olds to 18 - 22 year olds. An 18 year-old is almost as much fun as a 13 year-old.
Blazer Cupich is the ringleader of the scandal! Cupich and his boys have spent parish funds like there is no end to the pot of gold. He held the last Bishop’s conference at the 5 star Fairmont Hotel in Chicago - one of the most expensive locations in the city. Cupich is out to protect the lavish lifestyle of the Bishop’s Private Boys club.
I'll listen when he says that he will root out every instance of clerical unchastity in his diocese, no matter who their targets were, including each other.
Every Diocese needs to have a public ceremony in which every priest, deacon, and seminarian individually takes an oath to live in perfect sexual continence, and to resist and report every person who makes any attempt to compromise their chastity in any way. No matter what, no matter who.
Pope Paul VI was right when he said that through some crack, the smoke of Satan had entered the church.
There is an article by Andrew Sullivan linked on realclear politics that stated what most of us know, the overwhelming majority of abuse was men to men or men to underage boys indicating a problem with a homosexual subculture. Now Sullivan goes on to suggest this may be rooted in an internal hatred that some homosexuals have that they are in fact homosexual but he clearly does not dismiss the homosexual dimension of this, which most on the left do.
To his credit, he has called for Cardinal Wuerhl of DC to resign. I concur with that point.
I expect to die in bed, my successor will die in prison and his successor will die a martyr in the public square. His successor will pick up the shards of a ruined society and slowly help rebuild civilization, as the church has done so often in human history.
~ Cardinal Francis George
