Simple answer: There’s a door. Use it (Him).

At the moment we sin it is because we are looking to something to give us what only Jesus can give us. Beneath any particular sin is the general sin of rejecting Christ-salvation and indulging in self-salvation." Wow...I needed to read that today. Thanks for posting.

When confronted with the exclusive claims of Christianity, the question on many people's minds is how can Christians be so narrow as to believe that all non-Christians will be excluded from heaven? There are none good. If there were, Christ wouldn't have had to die.

Yes, and people who help spread the lie that there’s still a separate covenant in effect for the Jews are in reality just helping spread the Satanic lie that there are multiple ways rather than Jesus Christ the only way.

Nope. Jesus is not the only way.
There is the other one that leads to eternal suffering in hell.
The choice is yours.

“Actually, Jesus himself answered this question. When asked by a rich young ruler what must he do to gain eternal life, Jesus answered: “If you want to enter life, obey the commandments” (Matt 19:17). So Jesus himself makes it clear that a good person who obeys all of God’s commands would merit or qualify for eternal life.”
But then the Jews were still under the law of the commandments. Jesus death and resurrection move us from the rule of the law to the rule of grace. God s word tells us, For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourself; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). God s grace is unmerited favor He gives to undeserving man.

He’s pusbing a false premise
Being good has nothing to do with getting into heaven into heaven.
As far as I know, Jesus was the only one to conquer death and was resurrected.

Those who have to ask this have not read Scripture in any meaningful sense.

By spreading the lie that you must follow Jesus to enter heaven, someone (cough) achieved the remarkable feat of convincing billions of people that the birth of Christ *condemned* multitudes of people globally, such as American Indians who had never heard the Gospel.

You see, it is always important to look at context, for after Jesus tells the rich young ruler, "If you want to enter life, obey the commandments", He then goes on to explain but "With man this is impossible..." (Matt 19:26) So God gave us laws to live by knowing that it would be impossible for us to obey them all due to human nature God created? I can't buy that God is such a cruel trickster.

Jesus is giving us a free way out of the eternal death that we brought upon ourselves.
It’s not the fault of Christians that people love their own sin too much to want to use that way out.
