Sad. He lost his wife Nancy a few years ago.
I loved listening to him.
Heaven’s gain. Our temporary loss. I will never forget the first time I heard Chuck Missler on the radio! Rapid fire fabulous information. I was in my car and pulled into a parking lot so I could give full attention to his teaching. He helped immensely in bringing my fledgling Christian life to fruition. I doubt there could ever be another like him. Thank you, Chuck Missler!
Yes, he was a great Bible teacher. Sometimes he was hard to listen to because of the hoarseness of his voice and the abruptness of his thought patterns but he was so good a thinker and teacher you forgave him or forgot about the voice or the thoughts not quite fleshed out.
He had some creative thoughts about extraterrestrials and how they could be understood within a biblical worldview.
As I recall he was a distinguished and well respected scientist but never stumbled or apologized for his heartfelt faith in Jesus Christ. He is with the Lord in His kingdom as we carry on in this present world. The Lord blesses those who love Him with all their heart.
As a technical man I found his way of teaching to be best aligned with my way of thinking. Many Christians are moved by lofty platitudes and words like love and relationship, but I like the way Missler handled prophecy as a way to validate Scripture and other cool things like Cosmic Codes.
One of his briefing packs likened our souls to information traveling over the airwaves. It cannot be seen and weighs nothing, but it is very meaningful and valuable and unique. Then he said, Ladies and gentlemen, our earthly bodies will die, but were headed for an upgrade in heaven!
The world will always be a better place because of Chuck Missler. RIP my friend, youve received your heavenly upgrade.
He was a true man of God and of science, and is now forever in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
RIP
My whole family has been blessed by Chuck’s Bible studies. We will miss him.
He is having a great adventure in heaven now. May his family be comforted.
“Well done, true and faithful servant.”
