US President Donald Trump's unabashed support for the Jewish state and his public recognition of Jerusalem as its capital have many Israelis electrified.
The current American leader's positive attitude toward Israel seems nearly illogical, especially after decades of far more hostile trends.
A prominent Israeli rabbi believes the reason for this unprecedented (at least in modern times) shift is that Trump has a big role to play in the building of the Third Temple and the coming of Messiah.
Rabbi Yosef Berger is the rabbi in charge of King David's Tomb on Mount Zion, and the son of a widely revered Hasidic leader.

#1. Solomons Temple
2. Temple during time of Christ, soon destroyed
3. Temple that is to be built, in which the antichrist sets himself as God, also will be destroyed
4. Temple to be built in millennial kingdom according to specifications in Ezekiel 40-46. Gods Glory will again fill this Temple.
That just means you don’t know what you don’t know.
Explain your stance on John 6.
Whether you believe it or not, dispensationalism is real and this Temple will be built and then desecrated at a later date by the dreaded A/C.

4. Heaven
41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread[c] which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh.
52 The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?[d] 53 So Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; 54 he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven, not such as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live for ever. 59 This he said in the synagogue, as he taught at Caper′na-um.
60 Many of his disciples, when they heard it, said, This is a hard saying; who can listen to it? 61 But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at it, said to them, Do you take offense at this? 62 Then what if you were to see the Son of man ascending where he was before?[e] 63 It is the spirit that gives life, the flesh is of no avail; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. 64 But there are some of you that do not believe. For Jesus knew from the first who those were that did not believe, and who it was that should betray him. 65 And he said, This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.
66 After this many of his disciples drew back and no longer went about with him. 67 Jesus said to the twelve, Will you also go away? 68 Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life; 69 and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.
Good luck pretending to have the correct interpretation.
See post #66.
I believe what it says.
Roy Zuck’s “Basic Bible Interpretation” can help you straighten out your hermeneutic so that it is consistent.
John 6 and your literal interpretation can help you straighten out your misguided assertions.
If you are willing to elaborate, I'd like to know how you explain your views that contradict Ezekiel and the inspired words of Paul in 2 Thessalonians.
1. History tells us the Second Temple was destroyed by Romans circa 70 ad.2. II Thessalonians 2:3,4 - says the Anti-Christ will set himself up as God in a Jewish temple when he appears.
Since the Second Temple was destroyed in 70 ad, this will be the third Temple.
"Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.You are claiming that Christ is the third Temple.
If Christ is the third temple as you are saying, how will the most evil person in history set himself up inside of Christ? How does evil reside inside the glorified Christ?
3. Ezekiel 40-46 foretells in prophecy a future fourth recorded Temple in the millennial kingdom.
Specific physical measurements are given. This Temple is located on earth in Jerusalem.
"In visions of God he took me to the land of Israel and set me on a very high mountain, on whose south side were some buildings that looked like a city." Ez. 40:2Ezekiel specifically says there will be animal sacrifices in this new Temple in Jerusalem.
A room with a doorway was by the portico in each of the inner gateways, where the burnt offerings were washed. 39 In the portico of the gateway were two tables on each side, on which the burnt offerings, sin offerings[n] and guilt offerings were slaughtered.
Ezekiel specifically records that the presence and glory of God will descend and till this Temple.
Ez. 43 Then the man brought me to the gate facing east, 2 and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory. 3 The vision I saw was like the vision I had seen when he[a] came to destroy the city and like the visions I had seen by the Kebar River, and I fell facedown. 4 The glory of the Lord entered the temple through the gate facing east. 5 Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.Ezekiel specifically says (in Ezekiel 45:6) it is for the House of Israel (not Christians in heaven):
“You shall say to the rebellious ones, to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Enough of all your abominations, O house of Israel,Please post proof that this Fourth Temple will be in Heaven as you claim, and not physically on earth, as God records through Ezekiel.
Perhaps you could tell us in what year you believe Ezekiel was written?
My particular take is that man must be the one who confirms the 7-year covenant.
But yes, I think it’s a very bad idea. Nonetheless, we know that one day it will happen.
Ezekiel dated the vision that comprises the final portion of the book as coming to him in 573 B.C., more than 12 years after his immediately preceding messages (refer to 33:21–22).He located it in time using two points of reference, in relation to the beginning of the Exile and in relation to the fall of Jerusalem.
The prophet affirmed that the Lord did indeed give it to him at this specific time.
A. Ezekiel's prophecies seem to be dated around the exile of king Jehoiachin (597 B.C.)
Thirteen of Ezekiel's message are dated precisely to the day, month and year of King Jehoiachin's exile to Babylon. The following chart lays out the general chronological arrangement of these prophecies with three exceptions (29:1, 17; 32:1) all of which were oracles against Egypt and thus placed together with the other Egyptian prophecies:1

B. Ezekiel was called to his prophetic ministry in the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin--593/92 B.C.
C. Ezekiel's last discourse was dated in the twenty-seventh year of Jehoiachin's exile--571/70 B.C. (29:17)
D. Ezekiel never mentions the release of Jehoiachin in 560 B.C.
E. Therefore, it reasonable to conclude that Ezekiel's messages cover the period from 593/92 to 571/70 B.C. and were written down in present form from 571/70 B.C. to 562 B.C.
PS - I lifted those dates in the last post from: https://bible.org/article/introduction-book-ezekiel
Irenaeus differs from Chrysostom and Ephraem as to whether this refers to the Church or the Jerusalem Temple. Given that II Thes. was written in 50-51 A.D. it could be the second Temple, certainly NOT a third.
3. Since Ezekiel was written after the destruction of the first Temple (587 B.C.) but before the construction of the second Temple (537 B.C.), why do you insist on a fourth Temple on earth?
How many times before grace is imparted? What about when it is not accessible?
What about taking ALL OF SCRIPTURE, what would it say? John 1 says Christ is the Word. Doesn't it seem reasonable Christ is speaking of spiritual food, as the remainder of the passage clearly indicates?
I wouldn't be comfortable concluding salvation is done by a mere physical act of eating and drinking. The seems so superficial and at odds with the rest of the Bible. Scripture points to a heart conversion. Repentance and turning to Jesus for forgiveness.
If that is misguided, the the Lord has a lot of explaining to do for inconsistency.
If you take the position that this refers to the second temple, you will also have to conclude the anti-christ has been revealed already and set himself in the temple as God. If so, who is he? When did this occur?
Saying it was referring to the church is not an option, since the church is never a temple in Scripture. Individual believers are referred to as the temple of God, since the Holy Spirit lives inside believers. It also presents the problem that the anti-christ would have to have presented himself as God inside believers. Never going to happen.
For these reasons, it cannot be the second temple. And of course, the reasons below.
3. Since Ezekiel was written after the destruction of the first Temple (587 B.C.) but before the construction of the second Temple (537 B.C.), why do you insist on a fourth Temple on earth?
The second temple does not fulfill the rest of the passage in Ezekiel:It cannot be the Second Temple, since the Glory of God never filled the this temple, as Ezekiel described in chapter 43:1-3. God's glory did not return when Zerubbabel rebuilt the Temple or when Herod the Great remodeled it.
God says in Ezekiel, 43:7–8 The one speaking from the temple, undoubtedly the Lord, told Ezekiel that the temple was His throne, the place where God would rest His feet (take up residence) and live among the Israelites forever. This has not happened yet. Since the second temple was destroyed, this was not fulfilled by the second temple.
In this new millennial temple - the fourth temple - Zadokite Priests ( 44:15–16 ) will have special privileges since Zadok and his sons had served the Lord faithfully in the past (cf. 40:46; 1 Sam. 2:35; 2 Sam. 8:17; 15:24–29; 1 Kings 2:26–35; 1 Chron. 6:7–8). This was not exclusively true in the second temple before it was destroyed.
The land of Israel will be distributed to the Zadok Priests, which has never happened (chapter 45)
An entire system of offerings will be required in the millennial temple that were not required before (chapter 45:9-46:24). This never happened before.
Thank you for the nice discussion and for making me outline the reasons. I've kept them short, since complex posts are difficult to respond to in forums. If you have additional points or questions, I'm game.
