NPR NEEDS TO BE ABOLISHED IMMEDIATELY

My cousin recently heard a program on NPR where they were reading from the Steele Dossier as if it were legitimate.

I’m not a Christian, but I do at least have a passing familiarity with its tenets. One would expect journalists to have the same.

Anyone who reads what the Founders believed

That immediately lets out all NPR staff.

Well if they were really educated and could read the Bible they'd know Jesus didn't die on Friday. That would make him a liar. Read the Bible and understand the Jewish appointed days and times.....

Jesus was crucified on Wednesday. Died before sunset and was in the tomb 3 days (remember he reminded us about Jonah).... He arose at the dawn of the 6th Day which was anytime after sunset on Saturday.

It’s not just NPR.

The Wall Street Journal recently reported that Netanyahu said Moses brought water from Iraq.

This also betrayed the stunning ignorance of those in the media with respect to all things religious.

Further down in the article:

The problem is not just with the media, but is even internal to Christian communities. I’ve said in this space on many occasions that as I travel to Christian colleges, one of the biggest complaints I hear from faculty is that young people have next to no theological knowledge. They are the products of parishes, congregations, and (especially) youth groups that have reduced the faith to mere relationality. I was once in the presence of a college student who had been raised in the church, been involved since childhood, and had been active in a parachurch youth ministry. She knew that Jesus was her best buddy, but she did not realize that he had been physically raised from the dead.
