UNITED KINGDOM, March 23, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Despite his years of denouncing religion, Richard Dawkins does not welcome a European future without Christianity.
On Wednesday, the atheist author and evolutionary biologist warned those inclined to “rejoice at the death throes of the relatively benign Christian religion” to keep in mind the danger of "something worse" taking its place.
That worse alternative, Dawkins suggests, is Islam, which he has previously called “the most evil religion in the world.”
Dawkins was reacting to a Guardian report on recent polling that shows 70% of people in the United Kingdom between the ages of 16 and 29 do not identify with any religion, that 59% of them never attend religious services, and that almost two-thirds of them never pray.
The research, published by theology and sociology professor Stephen Bullivant of St. Mary’s University in London, finds similarly high numbers in other European nations. Sweden, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic all have even higher percentages of non-religious young people, while the young populations of France, Belgium, and Hungary are all more than 60% non-religious. More than half of the age group in Finland, Denmark, Norway, and Spain is non-religious, as well.
“Christianity as a default, as a norm, is gone, and probably gone for good – or at least for the next 100 years,” Bullivant says. “Cultural religious identities just aren’t being passed on from parents to children. It just washes straight off them.”

Dawkins doesn’t tell the truth, he spins his own fantasies based on his hatred of a caricature of Christianity and he has just been confronted with reality.
The disciples of Oprah Winfrey and Richard Dawkins are 1 percent “enlightened self-interest” and 99 percent the dregs of humanity creating the tidal wave of negative social indicators and keeping the left in business.
And the 1 percent are giving the world to Islam in a virtue signaling exercise to prove their membership in the 1 percent.

Heinlein was a great writer. That made all the lies he sold more effective. He was my favorite writer.
Lately, I have been thinking of all the destructive messages he sold. It explains why he was tolerated by the big publishers.
1. There is no God.
2. You cannot determine whether one religion is better than another.
3. Man has unlimited potential.
4. A small elite should make decisions for the masses.
5. The concept of natural law is irrational.
6. The way to happiness is by finding your primitive desires and fulfilling them.
7. The United States is in danger of becoming a theocracy based on Christian fundamentalism.
8. Maybe cannibalism isn’t so bad.
9. Any sexual restraint is bad.
Heinlein’s futures were all based on societies with Christian values, which he then depicted as existing without Christianity.
Late in life, he professed to being a Deist.
The major reason he appears to have hated Christianity, is that he did not want any limits on his sexual apatites.
A very smart and talented man, who helped bring about our current problems.
Europe made their PC bed when they gave so much power to Germans... let them sleep in it now.
That is the occasional confessed motivation behind most of the militant evangelical atheists.
If you are really an atheist you shouldn't care about other people believing in God. To be so militant, you have to have hate, and you can't hate something that you don't believe exists.
And what of Islams Persian practitioners?
This is considered 'Hate Speech' in the PC world.
If 1/3 of the committed believers in Europe actually do pray, the kingdom of the Damned is in pretty big trouble.
Darkness will never extinguish the light. What passes for the light in Europe, for the most part, is actually Darkness. Powerless faithless religious formality with no fervor no fire no faith no persistence and no actual holiness.
