You may have heard: President Donald Trump replaced his national security adviser, H.R. McMaster, with John Bolton.
You may have heard because of the mixed reaction to the prospect of Bolton running national security — “mixed” as in apocalyptic among leftists and heaven-sent to many on the right.
Look no further than the pro-Israel spectrum for each extremes:

How do you manage, belonging to a liberal temple? I can’t do it. If I didn’t have too many helpless people to watch, I’d go to dennis prager’s Minyan. You should maybe try it.
Reform Jews are often very light on the Judaism, high on the social justice. Conservative Jews are more into actual Judaism and keep kosher etc at least in the synagogue. They are often still liberal in politics. Orthodox Jews try hard to follow the whole Torah as best they can, and are often not leftists. Reform Jews call themselves reform Jews and are proud of it. Conservative Jews won’t call themselves “conservatives” unless they are politically conservative, which is fairly rare. Orthodox often call themselves shomer shabbos Jews or something rather than “orthodox.”

Yeah not sure where Dennis Prager’s Minyan is located I would have to look it up. I go to be closer to God..its been a rough year so far..my sister was 6 months pregnant(With a girl) and she lost the baby, stillborn(lost her 3 weeks ago) so its been tough..so I go to pray and to find peace in the whole thing and pray that she will get pregnant again..so yeah even though they are liberal leaning, I Just tune out the liberal BS and concentrate on what is really important

Thank y’all! I’ve always read about the Conservative sect, but I thought it a political, not theological classification. I guess what I was asking is which are the trustworthy Jews, as I [as far as I know] don’t have acquaintance with any except here on FR.
I’m a naive idiot who doesn’t notice or pay attention to religious labels. But there seems to be a strain of Jew that is purely political, and not religious in the slightest.
I’m half Southern Baptist/half Catholic, and the family dynamics early on forced me to slam my eyes, ears and nose shut to religious label-talk.

Ashkenazi is not a ‘sect’.
Ashkenazi (from Biblical Ashkenaz) denotes Jews in mostly Christian European lands who spoke Yiddish when the rise of Islam sent up something like the Cold War’s Iron Curtain between Christian and Muslim lands. Jews somewhat isolated on the Muslim side of the divide came to be called Sefardi (after the Biblical Sefarad).
