We are also ill-advised to place our trust in those Christian leaders who seem to believe that trust is one of the seven virtues.

Trust is not one of the seven, but prudence is. And unless Church leaders develop a spirit of prudence in their approach to totalitarian governments and totalitarian ideologies, they risk betraying the trust of the faithful.

Put not your trust in trustful souls.

Barefoot and pregnant, bad. Covered head to toe in burlap and pregnant, good.

Francis is not a trusting fool being duped. Sure, he’s a fool, but he knows full well what the Muslims want, and he’s perfectly happy to give it to them. His whole mission is the destruction and dissolution of the Church and then of Christianity in general.

LOL....the RCC hierarchy isn’t being duped. They are willing participants. JPII should have spat on the Koran instead of kissed it. Any true defender of the faith would recognize that green book as a book that leads people straight to Hell. There’s nothing kissable about it.

It strikes me the way Francis and followers view their approach is avoiding a conflagration or Holy War by taking these positions. When they should be approaching the theological assertions made in the Shari codex on a theological basis using this approach
