Heavenly Father –
As we celebrated the passing of 2017 to welcoming the New Year of 2018, may we put our past behind us. And look forward to coming day of our redemption:
While we are pilgrims and strangers on this earth, we confess have not lived like our citizenship is in Heaven. And have forgotten, Your goodness and deliverance, Lord, shown to Your people in ages past.
Forgive us our unbelief.
Renew our Spirit. Revive us, again. Spark a Great Awakening among Your people. Bring healing to our divided land.
We lift up all our leaders to You, Father. Grant Wisdom and courage to President Trump and Vice President Pence, and the 116th Congress. Protect them from harm on all fronts.
May Your Provident hand move in the 2018 mid-term elections. May You raised up godly judges, remove the corrupt ones. Likewise, cleanse our government from the deep state – the enemy of our people. Likewise, protect all those who put themselves in harm’s way to serve others, home and abroad, during the winter months.

Father God, we thank You for the sanctification process, for our walk with the Spirit, for the transformation that is possible on this side of eternity. Father God, we thank You for the forgiveness of sins.
Lord, we lift up the promoters of venomous fake news and the treasonous public "servants" who fight against the soul of this country. Father God, we ask that they too may wake, be appalled by their wickedness, and seek the cleansing walk with You.
Lord, we ask for protection for our President and those who are working to drain the swamp. May they have wisdom, discernment and success in restoring the rule of law.
We ask these things in Jesus' name

Father God,
Those of use who grew up when America was still a socially Christian nation often feel like the exiled Jews of the Old Testament, longing for a return to the homeland we once knew. Like them, we long for the 70 years of exile from our cherished national creed to be over.
Indeed, it is now 70 years since the Supreme Court raised the so-called doctrine of "a wall of separation between church and state" from an offhand remark by Thomas Jefferson hoping to extricate the U.S. government from a squabble between denominations to a full-blown oligarchic assault on the moral understandings that undergirded our Constitution and rule of law.
Father, we stand with our President and Vice President, who have brought prayer back to the White House and into Cabinet meetings. As President Trump has said, "In America, we don’t worship government. We worship God." We ask your protection on him and all of his Administration and family, Lord, that no weapon formed against them may prosper.
We earnestly pray, Lord, for the idols of sex, drugs and media/entertainment riveting many in this nation into a life of sin and degradation to crumble and disintegrate under the prayers of the faithful. Help us, Lord, to be witnesses and missionaries in our own country.
