As per the top post in “Breaking News” sidebar, Rand Paul has 5 broken ribs. While mowing his lawn, he was assaulted by his leftist neighbor :(

Senator Rand Paul’s injuries are much more serious than initially reported. FIVE broken ribs, 3 of them “displaced” (which means rib fragments might have punctured lungs, blood vessels, organs etc.). Lung contusions, also.... A victim can bleed to death from such injuries.
Very disturbing that we now have a second GOP politician life threatened for his politics.
Keeping Rand Paul and his family, President and Mrs. Trump and VP and Mrs. Pence and their families in my prayers.
In addition, I am requesting prayer for the families of the 8 killed and the 15+ injured and their families in NYC by the Muslim truck attacker, as well as the 27 injured and their families and the families of the 27 shooting victims from the Baptist congregation in Texas. Wow. What a week :(

Father God, we lift up the families and the community impacted by this horrible tragedy in Texas. Father God, we ask that they be comforted by Your Holy Spirit and that the wounded would heal.
Father God, we lift up Senator Paul, asking for Your Divine touch upon this patriot. We ask for his healing and his comfort. We ask for protection for all of Your servants, Senator Paul, Senator Scalise (more continued healing), President Trump, and the many others who work to restore this nation according to Your Divine Precepts.
Father God, we lift up those who are misled, those who are enamored with communism, with atheism, with hedonism. Father God, we ask that they be healed of their delusions and appalled by the consequences. We ask that the dark spirit which keeps them in bondage would be crushed.
Father God, we lift up the church and ask that You direct us to not be weak but to be strong in You. Lead us to be more effective witnesses. Give us opportunity to extend Your wisdom, love and mercy.
As a nation may we repent. As a nation may we once again walk in Your Light. May we once again be One Nation Under God.
