Our Father, we pray for a place of calm amid the chaos. Help us find a place within ourselves to breathe and search for Your peace. We meditate on the eternal calm that You represent. We pray that those who grieve for the senseless loss of the lives of loved ones will ultimately be able to find that peace and carry on with their lives.

Help us know how to confront evil and have the courage and wisdom to do so. At the same time, protect us from unnecessary and crippling fears, both of the known and the unknown. Give us the courage to carry on bravely and lives without surrender.

Let us see the manifestation of Your love in our lives and in those around us, and help us shine the light that brings others to You.
