SCRIPTURE: The One Who Sins Will Die
Ezekiel 18:1-4, 25-32 NIV
The word of the Lord came to me: What do you people mean by quoting this proverb about the land of Israel:
The parents eat sour grapes,
and the childrens teeth are set on edge?
As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, you will no longer quote this proverb in Israel. For everyone belongs to me, the parent as well as the childboth alike belong to me. The one who sins is the one who will die.
Ezekiel 18: 25-32 NIV
Yet you say, The way of the Lord is not just. Hear, you Israelites: Is my way unjust? Is it not your ways that are unjust? If a righteous person turns from their righteousness and commits sin, they will die for it; because of the sin they have committed they will die. But if a wicked person turns away from the wickedness they have committed and does what is just and right, they will save their life. Because they consider all the offenses they have committed and turn away from them, that person will surely live; they will not die. Yet the Israelites say, The way of the Lord is not just. Are my ways unjust, people of Israel? Is it not your ways that are unjust?
Therefore, you Israelites, I will judge each of you according to your own ways, declares the Sovereign Lord.
Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, people of Israel? For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!

SCRIPTURE: Psalm 25:1-8
To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul;
my God, I put my trust in you; *
let me not be humiliated,
nor let my enemies triumph over me.
Let none who look to you be put to shame; *
let the treacherous be disappointed in their schemes.
Show me your ways, O Lord, *
and teach me your paths.
Lead me in your truth and teach me, *
for you are the God of my salvation;
in you have I trusted all the day long.
Remember, O Lord, your compassion and love, *
for they are from everlasting.
Remember not the sins of my youth and my transgressions; *
remember me according to your love
and for the sake of your goodness, O Lord.
Gracious and upright is the Lord; *
therefore he teaches sinners in his way.
He guides the humble in doing right *
and teaches his way to the lowly.

SCRIPTURE: Matthew 21:23-32
When Jesus entered the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority are you doing these things, and who gave you this authority? Jesus said to them, I will also ask you one question; if you tell me the answer, then I will also tell you by what authority I do these things. Did the baptism of John come from heaven, or was it of human origin? And they argued with one another, If we say, From heaven, he will say to us, Why then did you not believe him? But if we say, Of human origin, we are afraid of the crowd; for all regard John as a prophet. So they answered Jesus, We do not know. And he said to them, Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
What do you think? A man had two sons; he went to the first and said, Son, go and work in the vineyard today. He answered, I will not; but later he changed his mind and went. The father went to the second and said the same; and he answered, I go, sir; but he did not go. Which of the two did the will of his father? They said, The first. Jesus said to them, Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are going into the kingdom of God ahead of you. For John came to you in the way of righteousness and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him; and even after you saw it, you did not change your minds and believe him.

PRAYER
All holy God. We come to you in the name of Jesus Christ confessing that we are like the second son. We say we will obey but then choose our own way. We confess and ask your forgiveness. You have provided Jesus Christ to die in our place to account for our every sin. Your grace allows us to live in freedom from our past. Now through Christ , we have renewed hope for our future.
Together, we pray for our nation. Protect President Trump, Vice President Pence and their families: physically, mentally and spiritually. Give them your wisdom and guidance to reveal and bring to justice all with evil intentions against our nation.
We thank you for providing President Trump and Vice President Pence with their agenda to drain the political swamp of corruption. Do not allow foreign enemies to have success in their schemes against our country. Nor, allow the domestic deep state enemies within our nation to pervert and destroy the rule of law.. Help each governmental leader and agency to stand with vigilance. Give them courage to reveal this terroristic political agenda of the hidden corruption that has been promoted by our national media.
In God, we trust. We are your people. We praise and thank you for all you have done, are doing and will continue to do for us your children. As we pray together, through Jesus that lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

SCRIPTURE: Philippians 2:1-13
If then there is any encouragement in Christ, any consolation from love, any sharing in the Spirit, any compassion and sympathy, make my joy complete: be of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves. Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others. Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus,
who, though he was in the form of God,
did not regard equality with God
as something to be exploited,
but emptied himself,
taking the form of a slave,
being born in human likeness.
And being found in human form,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to the point of death—
even death on a cross.
Therefore God also highly exalted him
and gave him the name
that is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus
every knee should bend,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue should confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed me, not only in my presence, but much more now in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, enabling you both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

AMEN!
FATHER GOD,
Hear our cries.
Our nation cries out to You. America is reeling from disaster after disaster. Americans, once united by freedom and liberty, face off against one another. Today’s evil massacre blanket our nation in fear. Enemies roam within our midst.
Do not take Your protective shield from our nation. Do not give our nation the punishment it deserves.
Only You can save America. Only You can mend our broken, divided land. Pour Your SPIRIT out upon us. Let our lights shine for You to shine Your light on the deep darkness that covers us.
GOD, have mercy. Hear our cries.
In JESUS’ Name we pray. Amen.
Amen
Amen to your prayers and the prayers of our President
“Melania and I are praying for every American who has been hurt, wounded or lost the ones they loved so dearly in this terrible, terrible attack. We pray for the entire nation to find unity and peace, and we pray for the day when evil is banished and the innocent are safe from hatred and from fear. May God bless the souls of the lives that are lost, may God give us the grace of healing, and may God provide the grieving families with strength to carry on. Thank you, God bless America.”
