Two people close to Pope Francis have accused ultra-conservative American Catholics of making an alliance of “hate” with evangelical Christians to back Donald Trump.
Catholic priest Antonio Spadaro and Protestant theologian Marcelo Figueroa published a joint article in La Civilta Cattolica, a journal published by Jesuit priests in Rome and overseen by the Vatican, in which they denounced US Catholics for supporting the extremist positions of the American right, saying the world view of hard-line Catholics is “not too far apart” from that Islamist jihadists.

Side note: On most things Maher is reprehensible. But when it comes to Islam, he’s spot on. And it’s not a case of a broken clock being right twice a day. Maher is bold and honest on the issue. And he never backs down. Quite remarkable, actually.

Can somebody please define “Ultra conservative American Catholic”? Is that just another name for “Pro Life”? Otherwise, I don’t know many. Ultra? Does that mean more extreme than “extremist” or does it mean just more conservative than “rigid”?
Are they armed? Do they demand 50 Hail Marys before you eat lunch?
Or is this just more labelling of honest normal Catholics by the intolerant and hard-core neocommunist Left?

It is time for Spadaro and Figueroa to go back to the drawing board and better reflect on what they are saying. They need to stop getting their news and opinions from CNN.

Considering how fast this got to ‘Yahoo’, it is now pretty clear that VJ-Holder-Obama are actively working with the Vatican to promote their Communist agenda.

The only Catholics I know that like this pope are cafeteria Catholics. The pro abortion crowd. Orthodox Catholics mostly have no use for him.
