Care to share exactly what your are blathering on about?
Is it me, or is it FR? Quality of discourse has declined, from even a few years ago.

So, Jim, when will you put an end to the “evangelical bashing” as you did on the Roman Catholic thread about Sola Scrtiptura?

Show me the word Trinity in Scripture. Or Purgatory.
I can make a case for purgatory. All I have to do, is look at a map of Colorado. I never skied there, but I knew some who did. 😀😆🙃😄😇😁

The other day he posted that yoga=devil worship.I don't know about your brother but his take on yoga is correct.
The word yoga means "union," and the goal is to unite one's transitory (temporary) self with the infinite Brahman, the Hindu concept of "God." This god is not a literal being, but is an impersonal spiritual substance that is one with nature and the cosmos. This view is called "pantheism," the belief that everything is God and that reality consists only of the universe and nature. Because everything is God, the yoga philosophy makes no distinction between man and God.
Hatha yoga is the aspect of yoga that focuses on the physical body through special postures, breathing exercises, and concentration or meditation. It is a means to prepare the body for the spiritual exercises, with fewer obstacles, in order to achieve enlightenment. The practice of yoga is based on the belief that man and God are one. It is little more than self-worship disguised as high-level spirituality.

The group that claims to have written the Bible and chosen the books of the Bible sure seems to go out of their way to minimize the Bible.

Some even go to such ridiculous lengths to ask "where is the table of contents" ever said to be a part of the Bible.
Like I said....they seem to go out of their way to minimize the very Word of God.

The views of the Reformers developed out of a debate in the late medieval theology over the relation of Scripture and tradition, one party viewing the two as coequal norms, the other party viewing Scripture as the absolute and therefore prior norm, but allowing tradition a derivative but important secondary role in doctrinal statement. The Reformers and the Protestant orthodox held the latter view, on the assumption that tradition was a useful guide, that the trinitarian and christological statements of Nicaea, Constantinople, and Chalcedon were expressions of biblical truth, and that the great teachers of the church provided valuable instruction in theology that always needed to be evaluated in the light of Scripture. It puzzles me how anyone can cast doubt on these truths. As if ANYONE is in authority above God's own word!
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. (Psalm 138:2)

The next thing you know, they will be asking where is the word Bible, in the Bible. It's right there, Mark, in the Greek. "Bible" is merely a transliteration and Anglicization of the word "biblos." From Strong's Exhaustive Concordance lexical appendix:
=====
Strong's Number G976
βίβλος
biblos
bib'-los
Strong's Definition
Properly the inner bark of the papyrus plant, that is, (by implication) a sheet or scroll of writing: - book.
======
It is a Book of books, sixty-six of them, Route 66. In Hebrew, the word for the same thing is "sepher." The English word "book" appears 175 times in the Authorized Version.
"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success" (Joshua 1:8 AV).

Well, first of all, you have to suppose that the Bible is full of error, at least from the copyists, and that a college-educated person knows more than the writers of two thousand years ago; and go from there.
