Seattle? I haven’t kept up, but through at least the early 90’s your run of Bishops was horrendous.
I might start going to a Latin Mass!
The Byzantine Rite is Catholic (one of 22 or so faithful to Rome), and is as beautiful and reverent as any Latin Mass. Check it out.
We’re not Protestant.
What religion were the Apostles and their descendants following before the Church collected the 72 books of the Bible 300 years after the death of Jesus?
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass developed organically for over 1900 years before these modernists decided to make the Mass more Protestant-friendly. That has worked so well. By their fruits, you shall know them.
Plese don’t argue with him. He’s trying to hijack the thread.
Must be to take the heat off the Vatican over charges being made againt #2 cardinal over child sex abuse crimes down under.
We have a thread troll trying to hijack this thread.
Maybe Our Lord is just around the corner.
I’m not a Catholic but I’d be very interested in attending a Latin mass.
That said I can understand how some Catholics would not be interested in anything other than a Latin mass.

“What religion were the Apostles and their descendants following before the Church collected the 72 books of the Bible 300 years after the death of Jesus?”
The Apostles followed no religion. They followed Messiah.
“The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass developed organically...”
Meaning “apart from the Apostle’s teaching and the Words of God.”
None of your business.
No one cares what Protestants think about the Mass.
I don’t speak or understand Latin. But I see absolutely nothing wrong with having Mass said in Latin for Catholics who understand and appreciate it.
Looks like a big “**** You!” to Catholics who disagree
with this Pope. He is really going out of his way to
pick a fight here.
So much for the group that claims they never change.
QUOTE—However, Pope Francis said this was a fair and magnanimous gesture to meet a certain mentality of some groups and people who had nostalgia. ... But it is an exception.—UNQUOTE
This is perfect example of a bald-faced lie that Bergoglio knows will deceive his low-information admirers.
Jesus founded a religion. He told the apostles to teach the truths he had taught them, and to teach people to obey his commands.
That’s a “religion.”
Proving yet again, it is the Romam Catholic who is usually the first to get personal and/or resort to profanity when the argument goes against them.
I hope someone communicates to LifeSiteNews that NO PERMISSION is needed, or will ever be needed, to celebrate the TLM.
If all you have to contribute is anti-Catholic boilerplate...
