Indeed!

“Yes, tradition was passed from person to person, face to face. Not all of it got written down in the Bible.”

John did not say it was passed down. He said it could not be written down because there was too much.

“Remember the Church came before the Bible???? Right????”

Wrong. 2/3 of all Scripture was already written before Christ’s birth.

The Holy Spirit who inspires Scripture is eternally God and as such predates all the churches.

Well, Yehova’s assembly, the bride of Yeshua came before any scripture; it began with Adam’s family.

Is that what you mean?

Gospel Jn 21:20-25
Peter turned and saw the disciple following whom Jesus loved,
the one who had also reclined upon his chest during the supper
and had said, “Master, who is the one who will betray you?”
When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, “Lord, what about him?”
Jesus said to him, “What if I want him to remain until I come?
What concern is it of yours?
You follow me.”
So the word spread among the brothers that that disciple would not die.
But Jesus had not told him that he would not die,
just “What if I want him to remain until I come?
What concern is it of yours?”

It is this disciple who testifies to these things
and has written them, and we know that his testimony is true.
There are also many other things that Jesus did,
but if these were to be described individually,
I do not think the whole world would contain the books
that would be written.

Wow. My son’s band was in Napa this past week. I wonder if it was at this festival.

Pass on what? Taking English language to google translate (to see what it would say, in English) or trying to figure things out from what clues were there? I had offered both as possible solutions to the dilemma (of your not understanding what I meant....or at the least, acting if you did not. It's hard to tell around here. Some people use the dumb act as some kind of forum tactic).

Using a search engine to search out terms you may not be familiar with could have helped you gain understandin.on your own.

I do it all the time, and have been working at it for more than a decade. Lot's of reading, to can better understand what is being talked about, and to be able to myself comment beyond shallow, emotional-driven reaction to headlines and images. Trying to understand, you tell me. Yet gave me no indication of what you did not understand, that would require further explanation. Thanks, for nothing. I mean, right from the start, you made it all so much easier. Not.

Jabbering? What obscure items I'd mentioned were in reference to what I'd been kidding around about, and a bit further what I was talking was about how comments often progress on the religion forum of FR. That's pretty much all there was to it.

But if you missed it, no big deal. It was only a bit of riffing after my having offered some faint 'well ok, that might work a little' kind of agreement towards what Jenuwine was supposedly up to (according to the article).

If that went by you;

Do not mistake your own lack of knowing what I was talking about, with that have been equally my own.

You. Asked. Me. In the first place, then kept up an insulting tone all along. In English, you said (as if I was writing in some other language) then "jabbering" you said next.

If you did not care, then why have asked in the first place? You used to care, but must have changed your mind? By now you should have been able to figure out what I was saying in the post you first bothered me about. Yet if you had, had no the grace to tell that. Nope. It's like everything is just big game. I'm sick of it.

Do not come to the pages of the religion forum to post personally insulting comments. Not to me.

But thanks I guess, for it went much as I'd originally predicted.

Some other place and time, if you care to trade insults, then go for it -- fire away. I can dish it out too. But not here, for the rules prohibit myself from replying in that same manner, in turn.

GOT IT now? GOOD!

He does. But also be a witness for Christ as well on this Pentecost Sunday. He has left the "Upper Room" with a "🔥 fire in his belly".

On this Pentecost Sunday, let us pray not only that those who are believers in the Lord experience a renewel of faith in HIM, but also unity as believers, but also HELP in bringing more people to HIM. Amen

Christ's bride the ⛪Church was born in the Upper Room on Pentecost Sunday, among 120 people when the Holy Spirit came.

.
Definitely not!

No “church” was born, and the “upper room” was the temple on Mount Moriyah. there were thousands present, from all over the world, to witness the giving of the spirit, as the text of the Acts plainly shows.

Yeshua’s ‘bride’ is every believer since creation, and is not a church, but the assembly, Israel.

This imaginary ‘church’ is the key lie that is inserted into the NT, and will cost billions their chance at eternal life.
