You’re joking, right? The fact that Scripture mentions Scripture means that Scripture teaches SOLA scriptura?

Is English your native language?

What’s so bad about using the words that Jesus himself said, not to mention the Prophets and the Apostles, in order to judge the worth and merit of ideas circulating in the modern day?

One would think that God’s Word would be the ultimate authority on those kind of things.

Matthew 4:3-4, “And the tempter came and said to Him, ‘If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.’ 4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’ “ (Jesus quoted Deut. 8:3)

During the 3 temptations by Satan, Christ only uses the authority of a Scripture as the basis of each confrontation.

Not once does Christ appeal to tradition.

You’re joking, right?

You are SUPPOSED to respond with what TRADITION plays in the whole scheme of things; not slither away with 3 more questions for ME.

HMMMmmm... I could find nothing about TRADITION, but Pete did leave us a parting shot of advice:

2 Peter 3:14-16

14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.
15 Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
