PRAYER
Holy Almighty God, We praise your name. You alone are good. We are amazed that even when our love fails, yours does not. We thank you for your grace to provide a way for our sins to be forgiven through our savior Jesus the Christ. Forgive us whn we turn from your will. You sent your Spirit to remain with us to help us in our weakness.
We do not know even how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
We thank you for your goodness and the many blessings you have given. We ask that you once again call our nation to revival. We ask that you protect our nation and destroy the wicked plots of our enemies. We also pray for physical, mental and spiritual protection for President Trump, Vice President Pence and their families. They suffer undeserved scorn and abuse. Continue to give courage and strength to be obedient to serve as you have called.
We are thankful for your constant love as we pray through Jesus name. Amen

Father God, we are humbled by the mercy You have poured upon us. We are humbled that You love us so much that You sacrificed Yourself to wash away our sins, that we might have fellowship with You, the Perfect and Almighty.
We ask that Your Holy Spirit continue to do a work in us, leading us to always praise You, worship You, and serve You. Give us opportunity to minister to those who do not know You.

(((This morning there were three reporters and a large technical team (CBS NEWS?!?) interviewing Ivanka, Vice President Pence, and others in the Trump Administration. Perhaps because the newsteam was the only ones invited, they were surprisingly cordial and positive. It was very pleasant to watch, and I was praying the whole time that it would not descend into a “snark-fest”. It did not, and I praise God for that! )))

• Families of those killed or injured in the Missouri, Arkansas and Texas storms over the weekend.
