The word “rapture” doesn’t appear in the bible.

(throws rhetorical bomb and runs like crazy for the hills)

Those who think that their worthiness relies upon their own works will not be raptured.

The rapture is Jesus returning for His bride.

He will be taking those who belong to Him... not those who are trying earn their way out.

Who Will Be Raptured?

No one. The Rapture is a pseudo-Christian heresy that was invented by a 19th century parson named John Nelson Darby. It has no basis in Christian theology and there is no evidence of its existence as a Christian belief going back much more than 200 years.

To many churches are caught up in this Rapture thing that they miss the whole point of being prepared for Yeshua’s return whenever that’ll happen. They deal with this pre/mid/post Tribulation that the whole point is missed. I’ve read where people have been excommunicated from their local church when they disagree on the semantics.

This did NOT happen. This was a FALSE prediction. TBN, CBN, GOD TV, and other networks still remain on the air all the way into 2017.

If you think these networks preach the Gospel then you have more problems than David Wilkerson. I liked David's writings but he was not a profit.

There is no secret rapture. Christ comes a 2nd time, not a second AND third time.

Heb_9:28  so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation

It's not going to be a secret:

Mat 24:26  "Therefore if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it.
Mat 24:27  For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

It's going to be lightning..you can't mistake it happening.

Mat 24:30  Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31  And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

This is the 2nd coming, when those who are Christ's at his coming and those in grave that died in Christ are converted to spirit beings. At the last trumpet, when he takes over earth:

Rev 11:15  Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"

Christians aren't going to be secretly spirited away, be somewhere for seven years, and then come back.

The question is...are you (anyone in general) ready?

If you were to die tonight would you go to Heaven?

Why should God let you into His Heaven?

The only acceptable answer to question 2 is because I believe Jesus died for my sins and that I follow Him.

Nobody. Enjoy your life and live it according to Christian and Buddhist principles. Die when it is time.

People should focus on building the best life they can instead of focusing on apocalyptic scenarios.

Salvation and Redemption are not and cannot be “earned.”

For what was the Christ, the Very Son of God, crucified and sacificed? So that we could delude ourselves into believe that we can (i.e.,are able to) and must “earn” our salvation and redemption? This amount to a gross putdown of the gift of rational thought, granted especially and broadly, although evidently not exclusively, to mankind.

The preterist view of the rapture is, IMO, the most biblical:

When will Jesus appear/return? IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION! !!!!

The Coming of the Son of Man

Mat 24:29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

The writer steps over the wire of "works" himself on a few occassions in this article such as using "genuine" faith as a qualifier for salvation.. a 'type' of faith is certainly implied....which would not only require a 'measure' to qualify but creates a degree of superority of ones faith over anothers faith.... but we know that even a faith the size of a musterseed can move mountains... besides the foot of the cross is level for all. Furthermore it's all 'IN' Christ alone...he either did it all for us or nothing at all.....including the faith that we have.... At best we can cry out as another..."I believe..Lord help my unbelief".

If we use any 'measurement' of faith as 'a qualifier for salvation' then Peter and many others would have failed the test...and we'd all be undone.

If we measure anything it needs to be the price he paid 'in full.'
