Introduction
Mat 24:3 YLT And when he is sitting on the mount of the Olives, the disciples came near to him by himself, saying, `Tell us, when shall these be? and what is the sign of thy presence, and of the full end of the age?' Christ's return was to take place at the culmination of the last days of the age. It is therefore important not only to identify the timeline of 'the last days', but also 'the age' in question.
The last days neither referred to the end of time, nor to the end of the world. The last days were those prior to the end of the Old Covenant Age in AD 70. Allow me the opportunity to explain.

Actually, we don’t disagree. :)
These sure arent the good old days
They COULD be the Great New Days except for human nature. Much of humanity is best described by the old line I used to hear thirty years ago in describing someone who cannot manage to do anything right. “He could F... up a rockpile.”
Amen.
And for another, Israel had to be dispersed in order for them to recreate their country. Christ could not return until after this occurred. He is suppose to come back within 1 generation of Israel's recreation. Also to note, the Temple must be rebuilt.
Then there is 2 Thessalonians that states the man of lawlessness must be revealed first. How about the meteors hitting the earth in Revelation, Abaddon the destroyer being released with his army, or a third of the stars being wiped from the sky?
The only way this article is believable is if you have a general lack of Biblical knowledge..... And 2 Thessalonians 2:3 warns about just this.
"Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, hunless the rebellion comes first, and ithe man of lawlessness is revealed, jthe son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God"
True, I agree.
Every day is the last day, anything else is gravy.
From an Orthodox position that is true. A lot of Orthodox Jews believe current day Israel lacks that “Spiritual” establishment, however we do not exactly know the *entire* mindset of God concerning temporal matters/the explicit geopolitical future and what that means/when the plug will be pulled, etc.
Welcome to FR.
Uh, no.
Good post. There 15 primary mentions of the last days/end times in the New Testament. The culmination of none of them can be placed outside of the first century. Examples: Acts 2:12-20; 1 Cor 7:29-31; 10:11; Heb 1:2; 9:26; 1 Pet 4:7. For the entire list see my articles # A5, A6, and A7 here: https://prophecyquestions.com/2014/02/01/articles-by-charles-meek.
that’s completely false. Not all Jews are Genetic descendants of Abraham, but many are. They share the same DNA, same God, same land, same language, same Torah.
You are spreading a lie if you say no Jew today in Israel is a genetic Jew.
the original blog post is mixing “last days” “latter day” and “day of the Lord” which are different concepts. The blog person is mistaken. Joel was only partially fulfilled in the day of pentecost. The spirit didn’t fall on “all flesh” it fell on the apostles only.
Any time someone says “already fulfilled” I instantly know they don’t understand prophecy. Prophecy isn’t fulfilled and then done. It is a pattern that repeats again and again.
“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now there are many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.” 1 John 2:17
And yet almost 2000 years have passed since John said it was the “last hour”
Christians do not describe Jesus’ second coming to be “The Last Days.” Atheists’ do.
2 Timothy vs. 1 refers to The Last Days.
This would be the evil period before The Rapture of the Church — then the 7-yr. Tribulation followed by Christ’s 2nd Coming, followed by the Millennium. The Millennium is the 1000 year reign of Jesus.
After the Millennium, the Judgment of God will occur - The Great White Throne Judgment.
I believe the end of the age did occur in about 70 ad, i also believe the Bible tells us of the end of this earth.
Jesus tells us he will raise the believers up at the last day, Paul tells us that the first fruits would be first and explains that these went with Christ.
I was not in on the first Resurrection but because i am a believer i hope to be raised at the last day, we do not know how long the last day is, it may be a thousand years or maybe two thousand years.
2 Peter 3:10
But the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. The earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
I do not believe we should get comfortable in the knowledge that the end of the age has already happened, because there is much more to come.
Everything after Christ is the last days.
Everything after Christ is the last days.
Oh, sure. But I think the message was to abide and expect His return.
