MANY YOUNG ADULTS ARE TURNING TO WITCHCRAFT AS A WAY TO REBEL AGAINST THEIR CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIAN UPBRINGINGS
Young adults in America are far less likely to identify themselves as Christians than previous generations of Americans, but that does not mean that they have given up on searching for spiritual meaning in their lives. According to Wikipedia, one very popular form of witchcraft known as Wicca has been growing at a rate of more than 100 percent annually in recent years, and this has been happening at a time when Christianity has been in decline in the United States. Of course other pagan and occult groups have been exploding in popularity as well, and as you will see below, one of the primary reasons for this is because many young adults are seeking ways to rebel against their conservative Christian upbringings.
I have written much about how young adults in this country are far more politically liberal than their parents and grandparents, and this enormous cultural shift in values has a spiritual dimension to it as well.
A recent Barna Group study found that only 4 percent of Americans aged 18 to 29 have a Biblical worldview.
Only 4 percent.
The shocking truth is that the values of most Millennials much more easily fit into pagan spirituality than they do into most evangelical Christian churches.
If you want to sleep around with as many people as possible, that is okay in witchcraft. If you want to take drugs and get high every day, that is okay in witchcraft. If you want to be a radical pro-abortion feminist, that is okay in witchcraft. If you want to be a gay transsexual exhibitionist, that is okay in witchcraft.

Thanks, this legal weapon will be used to mash some anti Trumpsters.
They serve the same god.
Yep, from 2 to 4 ... in one short decade!
What spell do you think young Harry Potter acolytes would learn? Have you actually watched the books or read the movies? Have you ever taken a martial arts class?
And does seeing Glinda the Good Witch in the Wizard of Oz trigger you?
Very true.
To counter this we need to heed what Ephesians 6 says....
10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.
11Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:10-11 NASB
Name one.
I knew a few witches but they were not practicing. They did not need practice, they were naturals.
“I have fewer issues with witches than I do with moslems.”
I don’t.
The Harry Potter Generation? No way.
They need an exorcist NOW!
New movie coming out, Chuck Norris: Son of Satan
As I had written some time ago, it is the duty, job, assignment, as it were, for every individual who calls themselves Christians, to be of such examples that all the other inhabitants of the world become insanely jealous, and demand to know what makes a Christian tick, and how to get it.
Y’all failed.
However, those that have lived the Pagan lifestyle for many years, do not accept the queers so easily.
“They are wearing the label of Pagan, to cover what would not be acceptable, not because they truly wish to live the Pagan religion.”
In the early 90’s my Hair Metal Band was playing at The Atlantic Lounge on Revere Beach. There were some “Grunge” kids there. Greasy hair, Flannel shirts, clove cigarettes. We asked them what their deal was. They said they were rebelling. We asked what they were rebelling against. They said “YOU!” We are rebelling against you.” That’s when this New Age/Wiccan BS started.
Is not marital arts a form of sport?
Amen. Second it.
Or at least try your very best.
Yall failed.
That's your opinion.
People reject God because they love their sin too much and don't want to give it up.
And they'll use any excuse to justify it, even blame shifting that Christians didn't do enough.
Look what Jesus did for people and look what the world did to Him.
They crucified Him.
The biggest issue with so much of pop culture (including Harry Potter) is what is omitted: Besides the Simpsons and the Hank Hill’s family, do you ever see anyone on TV attend a Christian Sunday service? While the former is more liberal than the latter, it still features an intact family with more than 2 children (and the Hills couldn’t conceive another child).
Contrast that with friends, where any children mentioned are NOT living in a nuclear biological family. Instead, it was kids raised by dykes, bred by a surrogate mother (bearing a child for a sibling, IIRC), an adoption, and I believe one raised by a single mother. Most importantly, look at what is omitted: a biological nuclear family.
It also irks them that the US didn’t exist when those witches were burned; the perps were Brits...
