Wow. I think the author needs to switch to decaf.

Switch to decaf? If only! Ten bucks says that the author is an atheist pretending to have the best interests of the Catholic Church at heart.

From one of the comments on the piece:

I am an Italian, born and raised in Bari. I now live in the United States. I am also a devout Roman Catholic. This writer is well known in Italy and Europe for her anti-Catholic views and interests. She is also a first rate liar. The Post should be embarrassed to publish this anti-Catholic bigot.

"As the Italian press first revealed, Burke held a long meeting last week at his Vatican home with Salvini, a fierce critic of the pope who wants to push refugees back into the sea and close all mosques in Italy." Never happened. Not true. A lie.

Dignitatis Humanae has always been split between reform and conservative Catholic scholarship. This is nothing new. The Church encourages open and transparent debate on Church teachings, values, and interests.

Cardinal Burke is one of the most respected leaders in the Church, who defends Catholic foundational teachings and scholarship with a sharp intellect and informed institutional knowledge of the Church and it's teachings. He is not some fringe character pulling the strings in the Vatican. What nonsense.

Gospel teaching “as it applies to Muslims” would mean warning them that are hellbound.

The “renegade cleric… wants to bring down Western liberal democracy.”

Wow. And I thought Burke was just a Cardinal in the Catholic Church. Either I was wrong or the author is insane.

The fake Pope seems intent on doing just that, running off the people who believe in Christianity.

When all that is left are Marxists and muslims, what will it be?

If Cardinal Burke were Pope John Paul III, I might consider standing with him as a Catholic. If Msgr. Pope were the Pope, I think I would already be in RCIA. In the meantime, I think I will continue to worship where the teaching is Scriptural and the sacraments are provided.

The shame I feel when so many idiots of my tribe support Hillary Clinton, Obama; etc.

If the left thinks closing all the Mosques and exiling Muslims is too extreme they haven’t read Revelation recently!

Maybe the author and pope Francis can both join the Unitarian church. They are both well suited for it.

No, this “author” is just channeling his master and “father”, i.e. the Father of Lies. That is where this rant of fly infested garbage is coming from. The Devil is on the prowl like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. He is almost certain to have this one when he succumbs to the frailty of life of this world if people don’t pray for this lost soul.
