Cardinal Burke is one of the most respected leaders in the Church, who defends Catholic foundational teachings and scholarship with a sharp intellect and informed institutional knowledge of the Church and it's teachings. If Cardinal Burke were Pope John Paul III, I might consider standing with him as a Catholic. If Msgr. Pope were the Pope, I think I would already be in RCIA. In the meantime, I think I will continue to worship where the teaching is Scriptural and the sacraments are provided.
