Dude, Latin was great! They had five cases, they had the ablative absolute, they had gerunds and gerundives. What’s not to like?

Go back to Latin America, Francis. The Cardinals made a mistake.

He has blasted the "excessive rigidity" of Catholics who believe in moral absolutes

Well, morals ARE absolute.

If I were Catholic I'd be very disappointed in this guy...

I had to laugh today when a freeper, in response to an obvious truth wrote:

Is the Pope Communist?

Sad, of course, but funny because all humor is founded on truth.

Amen. A non biblical, cultural reflection from a Millenia ago. Not required to worship in spirit and truth.

Not Catholic, but this guy is a total embarrassment to the Church.

OK Pope - the fluidity of the novus ordo that results in banal and dreadful liturgies suffering at the whim of every clueless “liturgical” director is better?

Really? I don’t think so ... I have been at dreadful masses - flat tone deaf cantors singing ditties on cheap microphones.

Lex orandi lex credendi.

This Pope is a clueless fool.

As a Latin mass attendee, I say, “Thanks, Frank. We love you too.”

In think that the Holy Spirit looked away from the Conclave for a moment and the devil slipped in. That’s the only explanation I can think of for this heretical Pope.

When I attended Catholic grade school they explained that the Latin Mass was the same all over the world
So no matter where you were you could easily follow along with the celebration of the mass

"In the history of the liturgy there is growth and progress, but no rupture," Pope Benedict wrote.

With respect to the Novus Ordo service? I beg to differ.

Oh man, I feel so much inclusion, I feel so accompanied; I can tell he’s looking deeply, tenderly in my eyes and respecting my unique and precious contribution to Everybody’s Church as his little Latin lamb because my humble, humble humility is something he really treasures in his heart as he kicks me off the cliff...
