Father God, we come to You in Christ’s Name, and in His grace we pray.

Lord, as the battle against ISIS in Mosul continues, we pray that You would protect all American troops in harm’s way. We pray that You would also protect the Iraqis fighting against ISIS, and all the civilians caught in the city.

Among the gods there is no one like You, O Lord, and no deeds can compare with Yours. All the nations You have made will come and worship before You, O Lord; they will bring glory to Your Name. For You are great and do marvelous deeds; You alone are God. Teach us Your way, O LORD, and we will walk in Your truth. Give us an undivided heart, that we may fear Your Name. We will praise You, O Lord our God, with all our heart, and we will glorify Your Name forever. For great is Your love toward us; You have delivered us from the depths of the grave, from our own sin and from all darkness. For Your greatness and for Your love, we will always praise You in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
