Washington Post ABC News Langer Research released October 7th showed Trump up 57/33 with Catholics. These numbers still put both candidates in record territory since no Republican candidate getting at least 50% of the Catholic vote has ever lost and the previous low with Catholics for a Democrat is the 39% Walter Mondale got in 1984 while losing 49 states.
There are no surveys of the Catholic vote taken completely after wikileaks exposed John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager’s plot to undermine the authority of the Pope and destroy the Catholic Church here and by extension around the world. When such a survey is done don’t banl on its results being released as the spread will likely go to 60/30 or more. If Trump merely splits the undecideds it goes to 65/35 for a big blowout. Catholics should be about 23% of all voters and that would hand Trump about 15 points before the doors open on Election Day.
