Apologies to anyone I disrespected on FR.
I don’t see how this post disrespects anybody.
I found this very interesting, always being drawn to the Jewish faith. I am envious.
I think he is just observing the Teshuva part. As Judgement Day approaches, you try to make amends for whatever might have hurt someone during the year. Its the same with Christians repenting for what they may have done to hurt someone else.
I find it very interesting also having lived within an eruv for years.
Many Jewish friends.
.
Some of my other ones did, and that I apologize for.

Oy! its that time of year again. Now I have to ask forgiveness to all that I have offended during the last 12 months. The baggage we carry as Jews.
Some of us were not drawn to it but only by the Grace of G-D and parents.
It's sad/tragic days when anyone has to apologize for educating on a belief/way of life. That was informative and helpful. No reason to ask forgiveness. Todah.
Three times!

Copy and paste this and I can tell you it is a very good study on the Lord's Feast Days. Mark Biltz is a good teacher.
If you realize Jesus was a Jew talking to mainly Jews, there is much we don't get due to culture differences. It's like telling a Chinese person you will visit them on "Turkey Day". They don't have any frame of reference for a day for turkeys so they would be confused and face a mystery. It's the same for Us when Jesus tells us we will be Raptured on the Day No One Knows. Well, the Jews know that day as the Feast of Trumpets, or Rosh Hashanah. It also draws from a Jewish wedding where the groom goes to build a temporary shelter for his bride to consummate their marriage in and the father is the only one that can release his son to go get his bride. Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Pentecost have all been fulfilled prophetically, so we are waiting for some Feast of Trumpets for the Bride Groom to return for His Bride. After 7 years of Tribulation, then Judgement day. Immediately after, Tabernacles, where God lives with His people for 1000 years.
All these events are prophesied by the Lord's Days in Leviticus and other places. To really grow in your walk of faith, it is helpful to study the Jewish roots for Christianity. As a Christian, we were "grafted in", or adopted, into the family of God. To say you don't need to know Jewish laws, culture, and history, is to deny your spiritual heritage. If you aren't the seed of Abraham, the promises can't be yours. This is the problem with replacement theology. The promises made to Abraham in Gen 12 belong to you if you are adopted. Trying to cut the Jews out and substitute Christians doesn't work. Antisemitism cannot be part of the Body of Christ or you are guilty of hating your brother.
I see many Christians today that say they don't want anything to do with Jews and seem to put them on the same level as ISIS. These are the ones Jesus says "I never knew you".
I am a Christian who has always been drawn to the Jewish faith, and love, love, love the Jewish people. My daughter laughs about her “American Jewish heritage” because of my love for both America and the Jewish people.
Is elshaddai Paul Wilbur? I can’t tell you how many times I have watched his video from Jerusalem. It was for the year of Jubilee.
bkmk
You did not disrespect anyone by that post......Itis good to remember the holidays of the old testament.
For those of the Jewish faith.....Next year in Jerusalem
Thank you, very nice, I never had a better explanation and God bless you and yours.

Question: Do Jews do everything that is listed in that illustrated guide for Yom Kippur, or just some?
We do everything.
2.) I know there are different types of Judaism (Orthadox, Reformed, Conservative, etc). Do all of them observe the Yom Kippur customs and traditions?
