I agree with cloudmountain insofar as knowing the Church will endure. Take a deep breath and let it go, let it go...
We all have to answer to God, even the Pope. And he might have a lot of dingy progressive inclinations, but even he can't drive the Church into the weeds. God is in control.

The men who fell into heresy and rebellion were the church leaders whose actions led to Martin Luther nailing those 95 Theses on the door of the church. The one, true Church is the ekklesia of all those who believe in Christ. The revisionist history Roman Catholics always ignore the fact that the church had already split 500 years before the Reformation.
