We all have to answer to God, even the Pope. And he might have a lot of dingy progressive inclinations, but even he can't drive the Church into the weeds. God is in control.

Isn't "letting it go" a form of spiritual sloth -- of acedia? In essence one who "lets it go" is ceding the spiritual battlefield to the enemy.

"Dearly beloved, taking all care to write unto you concerning your common salvation, I was under a necessity to write unto you: to beseech you to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints." (Jude 1:3)

Contend earnestly, for the salvation of souls.
