This is “way” above our pay grade to even consider. When the Bible says, “judge not”, this is what it is talking about. We are in a terrible position to “judge” worthiness for eternity.

I don’t know. Neither do you. It’s not our job.

It doesn’t matter. Everything, and i mean EVERYTHING, that this guy said, did, and thought became moot with the OJ trial, and has been moot since.

With all humility, that is something none of us is qualified to answer. For the matter, there are many tthat appear to 'meet the requirements' but who will perish, and others who appear 'lost' but are actually beloved by the Lord. Some like Paul, who I am sure many during his days would swear was a monster due to what he did when he was Saul. Or the criminal crucified next to our Lord, who in his last moments cried out and was saved. Then there are those like the pharisees and saducees, who appeared perfect but Christ Himself called them out as anything but. Or those poor souls of who it is written go to the judgment seat expecting heaven, only to be surprised with the 'other option' and wondering aloud how that is possible considering they healed the sick and cast out devils.
As human beings, it is impossible to know. Simply put.

True. Guess I assumed a legitimate question. Thanks for clarifying.

Was Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Saved?Certainly not my problem or concern.
If he was able to seek the mercy of the Lord in the short time between seeing the flash of the rifle and the impact of the projectile...maybe...but his conduct of life up to that point was certainly not of keeping with the teachings of the One that would be concerned.
So, no matter how many speeches we heard, no matter how many schools bear his name, no matter how many roads or streets were named after him, glorification after the fact will not change anything.
More to the point...I don't have to care...the state of his immortal soul is in the hands of God...and who am I to question that?

If he confessed Jesus as Lord with his mouth and believed in his heart that God raised Him from the dead he was saved. Only God knows for sure if he did that.

Maybe we don't know his ultimate salvation, but we can take his words and compare them to the Bible. This article makes an excellent point:
The very world it's self is seeking to achieve this "peace", unity, harmony and oneness, but sadly they leave out one key and crucial piece to this utopian equation... ALMIGHTY GOD!
I would have preferred the article to compare more of King's words with the Bible if it was going to have such a title. I do believe a Christian must appreciate his message - to call out racism as wrong.

We would hope so. That’s between the Lord and him.
And lots of Christians have been fooled by the lure of socialism. He may have been one of them.
