Tim Tebow recently split with girlfriend Olivia Culpo â a former Miss USA model â and the reason is said to be the former Broncos quarterbackâs abstinence pledge.
Yes, thatâs right, folks. You now live in a culture where a girl doesnât want a man who respects her enough to wait until he is ready to commit to her, faithfully for life, and not just use her body for his own personal pleasure.
Sports media, as you might expect, had a field day mocking Tebow and his desire to please God with his sexuality.
From NewsBusters:
Tim Tebowâs relationship with former Miss USA model Olivia Culpa is over. Because, according to reports, Culpo is upset that the couple isnât having sex, since Tebow has decided to remain abstinent until marriage.
First up is the New York Daily News, who ran with this ultra-original header:
âTim Tebow still canât find the end zone as girlfriend Olivia Culpo breaks it off over lack of sexâ
Followed-up by this quip:
âFor once, itâs not Tim Tebow whoâs having trouble scoring â itâs his girlfriend.â
At the risk of being graphic here, the report wasnât that Tebow âcanât find the end zone,â the problem was that Tebow would not enter the end zone. Nor, was he having âtrouble scoring.â He chose not to score.
CBS continued the yuck-fest with this gem:
âApparently an NFL job isnât the only thing Tim Tebow canât hold onto.
The New York Daily News reports former Miss USA Olivia Culpo broke up with Tebow because he wouldnât have sex with her due to his abstinent lifestyle.â Classy, right?
This is a sad testament to just how morally bankrupt our society has become, when a man does something honorable like saving himself for his future bride, makes him a laughingstock.
Although Iâd have to say the mockery says far more about the lack of character possessed by journalists in the media than it does anything else.
Tebow is a good man who loves Jesus and is dedicated to his faith. I hope other young men look to his example here and follow in his footsteps.
At this point, the Cowboy’s season is over, anyway.
What has Jones got to lose?
I respect his faith. I respect his choices and decisions based on his faith.
Why, for the life of me, does anyone want to know about this stuff is just beyond me.
What the hell is wrong with people?

Thank you.
The Number One pick in the draft.
Jones doesn’t think that way.
She’s a Rhode Island chick. A great percentage are just like that.

I'm sure that doing you a favor is not high on their to-do list. They want to win and there are better alternatives, either on their roster or on the waiver wire.
She’s a whore who wanted fame as the woman who got his scalp. Nothing more.
How horrible it will be for those who call evil good and good evil, who turn darkness into light and light into darkness, who turn what is bitter into something sweet and what is sweet into something bitter. Is 5:20
Perhaps Tim should shoot for those women who are as beautiful INSIDE as they are on the outside?
It is entirely possible that “dating” to Tim Tebow does NOT mean a serious relationship, but just means going out together.
I’ll bet what really burned her was he took the opportunity to witness to her about faith in Jesus.
Probably was. In a way, it’s almost like he set himself up by dating her in the first place. Why is it jocks HAVE TO have a hot girlfriend? Maybe he should decide to only see other committed, pure Christians and avoid the heartbreak.
What I’m saying is that he did NOT see it as a boyfriend/girlfriend thing. What if he saw it only as a chance to get to know something.
know something = know someone
Those are some really nice looking brussel sprouts!
“Tebow is a good man who loves Jesus and is dedicated to his faith.”
